STALKER

Spend the rest of my days wandering the zone, killing anyone who looks at me crossways, stalking for artefacts to sell and use my money to get drunk off my ass and then do it all over again the next day.

If I was to play a game forever, it had better be multiplayer.
Such as:

* Ragnarok Online

* Star/Warcraft (because of custom maps)

* Streets of Rage/Golden Axe

* Puyo Puyo

If I had to choose a single player game, I'd probably choose TF III, TF IV, or Disgaea.

theres no game id actually want to play forever, but if its stealing forever away from u then mmorpg's do the job.. or a real time strategy maybe. WoW looks like its gonna go on forever, but maybe one day there will be a WoS to replace it

Trackmania Nations Forever, plenty of tracks online to keep you entertained, and if not, you can always design you own.

Absolutely Neverwinter Nights...

However, BioWare may, in fact, convince me to sell my soul to MMOs...we'll see...*shifty*

hitman blood money, if they made an online bit.

I'm thinking that you play as a hitman clone and have to complete assassination missions, whilst fighting off other players who are trying to do the same mission. however if you spook the target then he will try to leave and if he leaves they everyone fails. and you only win once you have escaped the mission area after killing the target. God I'm amazing

Resistance 2. I love that game and there's just enough variety between the three modes so that it doesn't get boring. I'd clocked up over 36 hours of it in my first three days of ownership.

With an infinite amount of time, I might actually be able to get that paladin all the way to level 20! Maybe even into the Epic Levels!

LAME. Only an intelligent person would choose chess. YOU'RE LAME.

Mass Effect trilogy for me, personally.

Are you saying your not an intelligent person? technically the topic is "If you had to play a Game forever". A board game does count as a game, you only assumed he meant only video games. What is lame about liking to use your Brain,Is chess so hard you given up trying to beat some one in it and retreated to something that doesn't make your head hurt?
Its ok if you don't like it,That's Why us intelligent people make the BIG BUCKS!

Minesweeper, or solitaire, or maybe even Spider solitaire. they can be be different pretty much every single time, there's no story or anything to get repetative. just the odds that make up a unique game

Singleplayer: Galactic Civilizations 2, I can play for hours and think I've been on for 10 min.

Multiplayer: Neverwinter Nights, because the content is unlimited. I will switch this answer to NWN2 when someone finally releases a toolset for it that people can actually use without having a masters in cryptology.
