Well, they can travel up all the rivers they want, I've got the Alps to my left and the Carpathians to my right. No way could they get up all the little rivers and streams and mountains are full of woods. I reckon I'd have a good chance to survive if all the pillaging and raping slowed them down enough to react.

Not really, English or Scottish accents are cool. I guess they kinda suck when you cringe from hearing Norwegian accents (They usually suck at english pronounciation, but know all the words)

A very interesting coincidence.

There is a comic book series known as "Northlanders" which I am very much a fan of.

My brother just bought the third installment in the series. This one full of short stories, of which the very first takes place in a town called "Lindisfarne", which is only one letter off from "Landisfarne".

Well, I thought it was interesting. It's a good series, I recommend it.
