The necesssary joke boss. Like Bob the Killer Goldfish, but as a moonwalking narwhal that spouted Mahatma Gandhi quotes. Because.

I'd say, it depends on the type of game...
For a top-down game, I'd be a pretty tough, high damage BeerTent with either a really big sword, or something similar to Dedede's Rocket-Hammer. I might not be the fastest, and I'd occasionally heal myself by taking a drink (Also would be my weak-point.) Firearms wouldn't work so well either, as I'd have a shield I'd quickly put up to protect myself from danger. Occasionally, I'd pop in a status effect, but this would only get prominent if I ran low of health, and can't find a safe spot for a breather in the arena.

For an FPS... Hrmmmm... I'll take from Brink on this one, as i'd be a lot faster, and with firearms instead of the sword. I'd be quick to slide into cover, and probably end up taking a few shots to whittle down the player as I quickly speed in-between cover. I'd require either quick reflexes or traps to put me down, either that or a melee character to take me by surprise Either that or make it a race. If you get to the booze before me, You'd win, as... Well... I'd just be a Tent without the alcohol.

Good question. I'd probably one of these ironic bosses we don't see too much of, nowadays. Anyone remember Bob the Killer Goldfish, from Earthworm Jim 1 and 2?

BOSS FIGHT!

/me is stomped on once, player character moves on, completely unimpeded.

I'd be the bastard hard boss you you're supposed to lose against (but it's possible to win) early in the game to demoralize you, but my kind start reappearing later as elite enemies and are much easier to kill because you're stronger than before.

That or the random ambush boss that destroys you if you don't think quickly enough to dodge my first attacks.

I would be a battle mage grandmaster in a game like asuras wrath, my attacks would be in the pattern of the and melody of the tetris theme, as the battle goes on my attacks become more over top and aggressive as the music starts playing faster and faster.

I would be one of those bosses whom, when defeated, just change into their human/non-boss form. While defeated I would somehow be even more smug than if id won. My only flaw is that I have an ultimate fight at the end wherein I actually do die for some inexplicable reason which will not be explained whatsoever.
Also my weapons would be Canadian nun-chucks. Not nun-chucks made by Canadians but Id be extremely tall and strong and I would simply wield two Canadians help together by a chain. They would stand rigid because I asked them nicely and apologise whenever I hit the heroes.

I'd be the boss everyone rage quits on.

-raining lava
-walls of bullets
-tornadoes of rock penises
-instant kill lazer eyes
-1 billion hp
-4 minute berserk timer
-Able to teleport behind you
-Acid pee
-Meteor boogers

I'd probably be an optional boss like Henry from No More Heroes. Lots of health, powerful physical/magical attacks, and a flashy (yet still able to dodge) instant kill move. My character would also be mentioned or at least introduced once so the player has some idea of who they are fighting.

Really?

I'd be a helicopter pilot. 12,7x99mm chain gun, volleys of unguided 70mm rockets fired off Hydra 70 rocket pods and of course, guided AGM-114 Hellfire missiles.

Where is your cover now? Weak spot is OBVIOUSLY tail rotor.

I would start autorotation, eject, helicopter self-destructs to prevent the technology from reaching your hands, and parachute safely into the ground.

Would appear later in a Su-47 Berkut for a final dogfight, and pull off a Pugachev Cobra and release chaff/flares every time you get a lock on.

Too close for missiles, switching to guns.

I would be Xearo on Nightmare Difficulty from Quake 3, who could rail-shot you between the eyes from across the map if you so much as twitch out of cover.

My weakness would be predictability, as its the only way to really beat him is to determine his 'blind spots'.

Easy, the one you fight in a crowded club, in a circle of screaming crowd members. You'd have to destroy the speakers, as I'd use bass for power. And a kick-ass chain sword, of course.

Ooh ooh ooh! I've always wanted to do this!

I would be one of those tanky melee bosses that jumps around alot, you know, like I would randomly disappear/teleport the reappear on top of you and start recking your shit until you shake me off, with alot of leaping in and getting in-your-face. But first I would stun/take out your team mates, I really like those intense one-on-one fights. I'd also have a ranged nuke of some sort, which I would use before jumping in and performing the previously stated shit recktification.

Y'know those Legend of Zelda Dungeons where the boss's main weakness is in the dungeon, and they just wait for the fabled hero of time to find it and them, then use it, well I would be that boss, but instead of waiting at the end of the dungeon, which they would have my weakness-weapon by, I would be in the first room, so I still have a weakness, they just have to kill me before they can get the tool required to do so.

I'd be that cheap ass bastard boss that one hits you, who's weakness is so obscure you'd need to talk to the developers to figure it out. After which, I fall with one hit.
