I've always prefered stealth/sneaky classes in my RPGs and maximum range in my shooters, sooooooo

Infantry: Dark Templars

Vehicle: The mech I built for Mech Warrior 3. It had something like 11 Heavy Lasers all in one weapon group. The mech overheats and shuts down for a few moments after each shot, but the range is ridiculous and its a guarenteed 1-shot-kill on anything.

Air Unit: Back to stealth, what better air unit could I wish for than a Protoss Arbiter?

Uber Unit: Sith Lords (that is, an army of sith with the Prestiege Class of Sith Lord from Knights of the Old Republic 2. So generally over-powered master wielders of the dark side of the force).

Hero: Alucard from Hellsing Ultimate. :p

Infantry- Sentient Robots, except with their minds stored off-site. No need wasting valuable minds. (If its mechanical, it is awesome)

Vehicles- Siege tanks, except with a large blast radius and faster firing rate, but with a much longer mode switch time and weaker main cannon. (Blowing stuff up is fun)

Air- A swarm of flying fighter drones of annoying-ness, exists only to kill other aircraft, vulnerable to AoE anti-air. (Complete and utter chaos is also fun)

Uber- HMS-Firestorm, Basically a great big spaceship that's just small enough to land, two huge forward facing plasma cannons and a load small laser cannons. It also acts as a base for all the other units to drop from. Infantry go down by teleport, and the vehicles are just dropped down. (Blowing stuff up, except this time in style)

Hero- A jet-pack and laser rifle equipped robotic persona of myself, users digitigrade legs to be able to land quickly and run quickly if it has to remain surface bound. Other features include mechanical tail for balance and maneuvering while airborne, also a lizard like head to provide room for a expanded sensor module (Giant WiFi card). (Lizards, Jet-packs, and Lasers, that's pretty awesome in my books)

Infantry: a bunch of slow and armored mid range/melee goons
Vehicle:

Bad assery embodied it also shoots long ranges rockets!
air: some kind of swarming drones, with short range LAZARS.
Uber: probably a 40k dreadnought'esque thing with lots of swirly chain flaying things.
Hero: probably a demon dude who flys and does a AoE close combat effect thing on poor squishy troops :D

I could nearly describe myself with one functional RTS army already out there. Chaos forces in DoW 2, specifically aligned with Nurgel.

I'm not a bile and pestilent ridden monstrosity, but like the forces of Nurgel, I have a rather calm and laid back attitude towards life.

Infantry: Plague Marines... again, I'm not disease ridden, but like them I have a cheery, though fatalistic view on life. I prefer to ease suffering then inflict it (though Plague Marines find the Gift of rot and decay pleasant and welcoming).

Vehicle: I'd say Bloodcrusher, but I think the classic Mammoth Tank from CnC would be my vehicle... I'm stubborn, and have been known to lose my temper, specifically over other folks desire to see the worst in everything and be depressingly serious about it. I don't back down to confrontation. So I guess I'm something tough and direct.

Air: Definitely some form of Bomber, though I can't think of one. I'm methodical and surgical in my approach towards life.

Uber Unit: Great Unclean One. Even though I'm fatalistic and cynical, I much prefer to laugh at the world then brood over it. I try to see the light side of the worst, if that makes any sense. I'm fairly droll but still whimsical. I cherish companionship and family but detest anything that tries to break that.

Hero: Champion of Cyrodil (my version). Despite being fundamental towards defeating the forces of Oblivion, the Champion of Cyrodil is only a minor player, with all the glory going to Martin Septim and the blades. I get recognised but I prefer solidarity over recognition. I like to work behind something bigger. I like being a Cog within a machine and have few aspirations, but am willing to persevere through pressure for others.

OH, color me intreged by this tread.

Infantry: High experiance, well trained soldiers who carry assualt rifles and Anti-Tank/Air missiles, and grenade launchers on the rifles. They will be trained for urban warfare, since that about the only time I even DEPLOY infantry in RTS games. They would also carry heavy body armor to keep themselves alive, and move by IFV or chopper.

Recon (land): My tactics ususally revovle around heavy recon before the attack, so I will include a recon unit, both land and air. Now, for landbased recon, I would want to have a 4 wheel-drive, humvee-esque vehicle, with high speed, decent armor, and enough firepower to cover itself and escape.

IFV: To move my infantry into and out of battle, and fight other infantry, I would want an IFV with an autocannon on it, as well as several machine guns and fireports so infantry can shoot out of the vehicle. It should also have light AT abilities to fight against other IFVs and hold its own against a lone tank.

Tank: A large, heavily armed and armored, but slow behemoth of a tank. It should have heavy cannons to destroy tanks with, anti-air missiles to defend from choppers and bombers, and while a machine gun to attack infantry is preferable, it is not nessesary. To avoid destruction, they will move in a pack of at least 15 tanks per unit. Think Mammoth tank from CnC:

Recon (air): It should be the same as the land recon, but more firepower, so that I can hit a target before it moves. For looks, think SR-71 Blackbird with missiles.

Chopper: The transport/attack chopper would hold room for a small squad of infantry in it, but its primary role will be in the form of attack. It will have enough armor to keep itself alive and escape anti-air fire, be armed with gatling guns and AT missiles.

Fighter/bomber: The plane will be able to switch roles at an airbase. It can go up with a load of AA missiles, or AGMs. They will carry a gatling gun to defend themselves in combat if they run out of missiles, and will have an automated rear-firing gatling gun. For looks, think Halo Longsword:

Super-unit: Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to intraduce you to Kai. Heavyarms Kai:

This monster is 40 feet tall, has 2 70mm gatling guns instead of a right arm, and has 2 more 70mm gatling guns behind the blastshields on its chest. In addition, it has a pack of missiles on each leg, and one in each shoulder. If it gets into CQB, he has a giant gundanium knife to fight with. I dare anyone to stop this beast.

Hero: I offecially draft General Scott Michell, the hero of Ghost recon, to lead my forces to vicotry.

hmm, interlurbing.

(PRE.SCRIPT: this is a fantasy universe that i made up more or less as i wrote the post, think LOTR with a sprinkling of discworld and deltora quest, if anyone remembers those books.)

Infantry: shall we say, all manner of disposable horrors made possible by necromantic powers? skeletons, zombies, poltergeists, etc. that should be fun.

Vehicle: I would go with dragon, but i doubt there are many zombies that can ride dragons. for generals maybe, but for the peons i think i'll go with a final fantasy style chocobo, undead for preference.

Air: As previously stated, most of my units would be pretty piss poor in mounted combat, so my air units will have to be independent in nature. Anything i managed to get my hands on that can fly, obviously, but i think the backbone would be vampires and banshees, both very good at instilling fear (well that's pretty much all a banshee is good at) and both very fast.

Uber: living warlocks (everyone knows undead mages suck) that have spent years mastering combative magic. they travel in groups of three, and each specializes in a different magic style that compliments the other two. they're also trained in basic healing to fix up the squishey-er of my men.

Hero: whatever my enemies hero was, now dead and under my control. all my men are instructed to keep the enemy's strongest unit's body as intact as possible, so i can use him against them. *evil laugh here*

Infantry: Infiltrators who masquerade as enemy soldiers, then cause hell behind enemy lines with sabotage and assassination.

Vehicles: Expendable, high tech drones which roam around and shoot anything that comes into their area of operation.

Aircraft: High tech stealth drones which zoom around and bomb anything in their area of operation.

Uber: Wave after wave of cruise missiles.

Hero Unit: The Diplomat, who negotiates a treaty that either your enemy must sign and make a 10 minute truce, or half his army mutinies and starts fighting itself.

Hmm. Tough question... let's see how this goes.

Infantry: cheap and mass produced ranged units, so some kind of Archer.

Vehicle: I'd have to go with Balistae. Sure, catapults are nice, but I prefer launching a giant arrow into the castle walls. Take out the base, and the entire thing should collapse right? Same with towers.

Air units: Again, something cheap and mass produced. I enjoy having my air units swarm over the battle field whittling away at the opponents forces.

Uber: Heavily armoured warrior with a sword and shield. They'd do average damage but would mainly be there to keep the enemies off of the archers. Also they'd be big, making it tough to manuver around them.

Hero: two handed warrior with a cleave attack, a long cooldown range attack (also hitting hard), and the obligatory warrior whirlwind/blade-storm ultimate. He'd hit like a damned truck, mowing his way through the enemy forces. A proper bad ass.

Infantry: A phalanx of Roman Legionnaires, except armed with rifles, rockets, and shields that could protect against anything in their front.
Vehicle: Ah nuts, let's go Dragoons from Starcraft 1. Pack a good punch and mounted on four legs for increased maneuverability.
Air: I'll go with Hellkite Overlords from Magic. Natural regeneration and death-dealing fire.
Uber: Something among the lines of the Necron Monolith from WH40k.
Hero: Mountain king from Warcraft 3. Area of effect slow, 5 second high damage stun, stun passive, and immortality-esque berserkergang blessing.

Me, I'd go for Plague warfare, slowly my force creeping their way and inevitably destroying the opposition, thus claiming them for our own ranks.

Infantry: Plague Bearers. Slow, squishy hordes of mutations shuffling their way to destroy the enemy, many will die and litter the battlefield with fumes, gases and airborne viruses that will spread infection and disease through the enemy ranks. They will claim more lives for our ranks and slowly grow in size as they destroy the masses.

Vehicle: The wandering flesh. Mobile fortresses which act as transport for Plague Bearers, aswell they act as Artillery which fling vile, infectious material at the enemy. Gaining more for the horde as they track the land.

Air: The Virus that will decompose the enemy and plague their minds to serve me. radiating from all my units.

Uber: Reaver. This Regular sized Humanoid has a special trait which allows it to use matter from enemy and friendly troops to enhance it's own abilities. As it is Nearly indestructible, it can root itself to the ground and spread disease over vast distances, effective use would be to run behind enemy lines and decimate strongholds by hiding and infecting the land mass which enemies will hide in, spreading my Virus.

Hero: The Dark One. Leader and mastermind over the hordes, with the power of Mind control it is unmatched in combat and acts as a pure espionage unit as it shapeshifts into any form. Ideally it can disguise it's way into any enemy base and take the place of the leader, commanding the armies and giving false orders which leads to their demise.

Wow I put too much thought into all this.....

Unit - Something similar to the Catachan warriors from the Warhammer 40K Imperial Guards... Specilist in a certain terrain, and deadly at close range.

Vehicle - Small and fast... I'm thinking the speeder bikes from the scene on Endor in Star Wars!

Air - Pretty much a second squad... Some sort of winged-human/andgel style unit! Small fast and can't be brought down with a single MANPADS.

Uber - Tanya from Red Alert! I'm there, hahahahaha!!!

Hero - Back to C&C for this one... It would be something similar to the spy from these games, but with being able to hold his own a little better! Armed perhaps, to fend off the pooches!
