I can't write music to save my life.

EDIT: Asked my friend, apparently I'd be playing a "really abstract and unusual piece for a percussion ensemble". Go me?

groove metal. because i'm not good enough to do all that fancy smancy shredding.

It would either be ambient, post something, prog something, jazz or sometype of metal. Since I love all music besides trend music (-core, nu-metal, grunge had its moments), rap and country, I wouldn't mind playing hardcore, funk, classical, metal, you name it. Metal is my most prevalent taste though especially with stuff like this:

Prog, Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Shoegaze, Dance-Punk, and 80s Hair Metal.

I would really like to emphasize that last one.

I'm a drummer by the way.

- My school's guitar ensemble
- My school's big band no.2
- My school's green combo
- Decomposition, a band composed of me and some friends

I end up playing a HUGE range, but the practice piles pretty high. Good fun.
