I would rather convert to the Necrons and become a Pariah and help reap the galaxy and bring about the Red Harvest.

The chances of becomeing a Pariah are very small. Only one person on evry planet in every generation have the pariah gene, even then they are likely to die early for they generally have little to no friend and many enemies.

Suits me just fine, as long as I get the chance to basically go Postal on everyone when I become a Pariah I don't care. They're my favourite army. I collect them and play them and in the Warhammer computer games I always play as them.

Yeah the Necrons are my fabourite army too. They're just so awesome.

I remember going into the Workshop one day and playing against another fellow Necron player. It was dubbed as the "1,000 Year War" with the workers. We were playing it like chess in the way, each of us having one Monolith and roughly equal forces, Heavy Destroyers and several Destroyers plus infantry. I made the Monolith go out front and we kept the Destroyers in the back in case we had to outmanouvre the opponent.

I was holding up fairly well. The fire was concentrated on my Monolith but it was still standing and dishing death, with a few soldiers staying down. Troops staying behind the Monolith as cover, I thought I had it in the bag.

Next thing I knew he moved his Heavy Destroyer out from behind his soldiers to the front, then gliding over to the side of my Monolith. Oh ho, I thought, his only Heavy Destroyer is a dead Necron when it's my turn!

He fired his weapon at my Monolith. It hit on a 5. It then breached my armour and armour save at a roll fo 2X 6!!!! My Monolith blew up! Taking most of my forces with it!

NOOOOOO!!! As this happened the full strength of his forces moved in, along with his Monolith, to finish off what was left before the "Faze Out Rule" came to effect.

I lost...

Man that sounds like an awesome match. Wish I could have seen it. I have really seen any other Necron players were I live.

I would be located inside a brick shithouse worth of reinforced Power Armor.. So i'd be a gigantic dick to everyone I encountered because.. For fucks sake man i'm in a suit of power armor!

I'd probably tinker with my flashlight till it exploded and killed me.

Or I'd hide behind the tank, assuming the Commissar wouldn't shoot my ass for doing something as blasphemous as taking cover.

I reckon i'd get myself into a tank division. Who the hell could stand up to a Baneblade? if not, i reckon i'd make it as a Commissar or some other decent position where i'm doing the executing.

Guess I'd survive (in most scenarios) after all!

The Imperial Guard also have a Navy, I?d just get a position at the orbital artillery part of the ship and rain ?Death From Above?.

The Imperial Navy and IG are two seperate outfits.. they hate each other and very rarely get along.
In some cases they 'Accidentally' Drop a Lance Strike or Fusion Torpedo on an IG position. (But normally only if they have a fued or an excuse.)

Side effects of becoming a grey knight (which, above the age of ten is impossible anyway) are loosing all memories of your past, your identity, most of your free will and in short beeing a human maschine. On the other hand, you ll be safe from chaos taint! Sounds like a good deal, aye? ;p

Anyway, in the guard, I will propably be dead, as soon as i ll leave the chimera. I mean, you are dead anyway.
Frontline grunt: dead.
Artillery: Primery target for EVERY OTHER artillery on the map, including flyers: dead
Tank driver: dead, horribly burned alive.
Sentinel Pilot: "Hey lets shoot the big walker with the cardboard armour!" dead.
Valkyrie Pilot: "Hey whats that flying there? Rocket lunchers, fire" dead.

Not my job of choice.
