Asking for touching, emotional moments in MW2 is like asking for the same in a Michael Bay Movie.
firstly, the sigh was unnecessarythepj said:*sigh* you know that emp that hit washington? yeah? price launched that, that was his plan in getting to the submarine. he launched it because he knew it would take out alot of the russian forces plus all their air superiority and armour. Sheperd used the emp by blaming the russians for it to get his blank check. Prices exact words in the cutscene were "you want to put out a fire on an oil rig you've gotta light a bigger one next to it" that's what he did, he used a very powerfull weapon to take out the less powerfull russian equipment, bada-bing bada-boom it worksaaronmcc said:Apologies to the OP but...
I still don't get why Price launched the nuke at America or a least I don't get why he thinks it's good the silo doors are open. I'm probably a tard but can someone enlighten me what the fook this about?
well perhaps a compromise could be made - in America you get MW3:USA edition were you play a marine who gets killed and we will get MW3:SAS edition when our character comes along to fix what you did wrong. I'm kidding...but will you take the WW2 bait? I mean let's be honest MW pretty much paints the US in a bad light and gives the hero roles to the brits.Pyro Paul said:here is the best way to improve the game. Remove all of the crap involving the 141. prolong all the State side combat in DC. how awsome would that be to Humvee down the streets of DC engaging Russian positions in historical land marks? or the iconic heated fire fights in a Mall... screw this brazilan shanty town crap give me some high class civilization to fight in!
so much truth in the first reply already^^Pimppeter2 said:Or they could have just focused on making the rest of the game not shit.
i think they were meant to display american soldiers. they had us insignia on the shoulders and used us-smallarms, and who else who can get anything better would use them voluntarely...Lamppenkeyboard said:Something else that could make the game emotionally difficult for some peope would be to have American soldiers standing between you and that last kill instead of mercenaries.

the point isn't who is the good guy or who is the bad guy, the point is that it would of been more fun to have the specific missions prolonged into more full length campaigns rather than short 1 hour blurbs.aaronmcc said:well perhaps a compromise could be made - in America you get MW3:USA edition were you play a marine who gets killed and we will get MW3:SAS edition when our character comes along to fix what you did wrong. 'Arbitrary', (however badly they mangle the spelling), is the new magic adjective in these parts to describe basically anything since Yahtzee started using it.aaronmcc said:Awwwww. She wasn't arbitrary....she was dead.hubertw47 said:No no no no no no no.
