Alone in the Dark (2008). I tend to read reviews first before buyin a game but I made a mistake with this one(which I will never make the same mistake twice). I was impressive with the trailers however I was watching the 360 version which the Wii version was competely different and crap. To seal to deal I even preorder it to get the limited edition with the figure, art book and the soundtrack since I'm a sucker for all thing edition (unless they are very expensive).

The "In your opinion" part is not required.

Anywho, it's a toss up between Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Final Fantasy 11.

And yes, I've played both ET on Atari 2600 and Superman 64.

Has anyone mentioned World of Warcraft yet? coz it's bloody awful. it's Tedious, boring, overhyped, played by people with no life and how many of you have gone on there wondering what the hell the fuss was about? Generally the worst gam......wait....i jus remembered Resident Evil Survivor.
RE Survivor wasn't a HORRIBLE game. I enjoyed it.

Though the worst game i've played?

E.T

I win.
i completed RE Survivor in about 3 hours with the light gun, it was the most I've been disappointed with a game. Also i stand by what i say about WoW. I have friends that have tried to get me into the game but i really don't get the appeal....and then they talk in that unmistakeable Warcraft language. I think it's English but it makes no sense.

Oh and I've heard of ET sucking some sweaty balls but i haven't played it so cant give an honest opinion.

That would either be Crackdown 2 or The Last Remnant.

One was the single most disappointing sequel I ever played, and the other killed an entire genre for me. I can't choose between the two, as I resent the people who made both equally.

"The Tick" Buggy, poorly executed (think single player arcade TMNT or Avengers), and managed to take all the insane awesomeness of the comic and cartoon completely out of the experience.
A close second would be 3d PacMan. Trust me, after playing either of those games, the Kane and Lynch series was ART in comparison.

Final Fantasy 10.
One of the most notable moments being when my brother was playing for me for a bit while I went to go to the bathroom and take a shower. I came back and asked what I missed and he said "Nothing, Tidus and Yuna just made out in a pool for like five minutes".

Worst game ever, it was the final stake into a character I loved growing up and it downright lied to me.

Steps to making the game bad:

1. Putting Sonic in a 'meaningful' relationship with a human being (I am one for hentai but not with sonic in it)
2. Amy Rose
3. Rouge the Bat
4. Hardly any knuckles missions
5. Silver is too slow, fun, but too slow.
6. Controls sucked
7. Never have pre-rendered cut-scenes that were good enough and bad enough to convince me that the rest of the game had them, also don't just make 3 of them.
8. Piss-poor acting
9. Broken bosses
10. Advertisements say something about using the force of nature. I never saw that.
11. Shitty Graphics
12. Upgrades to sonics boots but no-one else?
13. Shadow the Hedgehog
14. Blaze the Cat
15. Silver was kinda okay, but they hardly gave him anything useful to do other than mope (To kill ONE person to save 6 billion, thats what you are concerned about)
16. Failed potential at fun fights
17. Everyone knows whats going on despite the world exploding, and they are the ONLY survivors
18. Still calling the bad guy Eggman
19. LOADING SCREENS UP THE ASS
20. Using music correctly in only one part (The final boss). The rest was piss poor and annoying.
21. Sonic the hedgehog has to be a super hero and save everyone in the city from robots that are not there until I talk to some a-hole.

I have a fucking novel based on problems with this game.

I pretty much hate every game thats has been released past 2000. The classics are great and cant be beaten (though some were bad, it wasnt that many), the new games released these days are just generic copies of them. Allthough there are some games released past 2000 that are good, theyre few and far between.

And god how i hate Black Ops and Duke Nukem Forever (I cant even think of it as a Duke Nukem Title)

Rouge warrior. I hated it
There's a game about a warrior cosmetician? I'm reminded of Homer Simpson's makeup shotgun ("I think you have it set on whore").

Dragon Age 2

Only because I loved the original one so much, and the sequel was basically everything I liked about the original removed and made mediocre.

It's also one of the only games i've ever played where the combat was so repetitive that I got a literal headache and had to take an aspirin after playing for more then an hour.
I feel exactly the same way about Mass Effect 2. The first was so immersive and awesome. The second dropped those qualities for lens flare.

OT: Too Human. Hands down had the worst gameplay i've ever seen.

My best friend and I played all the way through Eternal Sonata (there's an unskipable for it) and it was so bad that we forced ourselves to play all the way through it then we set the game on fire afterwards because we didn't want anyone else to go through the torture of playing it.

I rented Kane & Lynch 1, worst game I've ever played. So bad that I gave it back early and I never do that!

Deus Ex - Invisible War

Nothing works in this game - gamplay wise. Broken Fighting, broken stealth, boring levels, stiff to the hilt character, story and the worst inventory ever.
I quit after level 4 or something.

As of late, American McGee's Alice. Now, I won't condemn the game as a whole but the port for the 360? Horrible. The controls felt terrible and I raged much more than I should've.
I also hated Limbo, so maybe platformers are just not my thing...

Oh and any Sonic game post-2006. My inner Sonic fan never stops sobbing.

This title goes to Halo, all of them. Reach was fine if you played co-op but otherwise, come on, nothing they did was "new" or exciting. They were all just bland, generic FPS'es.
if Halo is the worst game you´ve ever played I really envy you. You can die as a happy man.

Come now, they can hardly be the worst game ever. The controls are fluid and tight, same with the gameplay. Campaign and multiplayer work, allbeit worse then Halo 3, but they still work. Firefight, on the other hand, is awful.
