Im American, and id probably choose either the UK or Australia, because the UK has one of the worlds greatest militaries, and the aussies are just B.A., being the only country i know of that has a good chunk of the population able to kill you with a boomerang.

This, pretty much. Although that's only because Obama seems to want to keep the UK-US ties active, and we'll be getting rid of Gordon Brown soon anyway (who I think Obama doesn't seem to like much anyway).

If it wasn't for that, though, and judging by the fact that the US seem to think our relationship is very much "US take, UK give", I would pick Australia. They at least respect the UK more as a nation, and have strong links with us too. I think if the UK was invaded then Australia would jump to our aid .

I'm surprised all of you UKjerks (lol just kidding) aren't saying Australia, come on...we used to be a part of your country plus our ANZACS fought just for you, we have a decent military and very loyal people too your country.

Problem is your almost on the complete opposite side of the world and dont have the ability to quickly deploy to help us. Were only a small country, if were already being invaded we'll be gone by the time you get here.

Personally I think you should move your country closer, its to expensive to holiday there at the moment and you have all the good English speaking beaches

My country doesn't own any valuable resources or significant industry, has a small territory and is not a sacred place for any important religious group, so who would want to invade us in the first place?! If by any chance that happens, because of the same reasons I don't believe anybody would give a damn to intercede apart from humanitarian organizations.

England, Id go with Nepal (ignoring the distance) The Gurkhas have sent us tens of thousands of their best trained and incredibly awesome troops (best natural warriors in the whole world) for over a century.

There are nto many diplomatic 100% cast iron guarentees nowadays but if Nepal was invaded the UK would throw it's full might (military, resources, political influence) across the world to protect it.

Their was the Mexican land grab of the area that Mexican people owned in the west and South West area of North America in now the United States.

The Mexican people owned the land in a shared capacity and through shady deals with the US gov't, speculators and lawyers their land was taken from them. I know my explanation is simplistic but the evidence is pretty easy to find. You can probably see why that some Mexican people are upset by the US and then we could go on later why Mexico didn't allow US citizens or business to own land in Mexico anymore. BTW, I'm not from Mexico.
