Being a current Aussie Trooper and having seen some footage my buddies sent back from their tour in Afganistan, I'd want the Dutch to come to my aid...
Tough, honourable fighters and damn are they heavy when they hit the trigger!

Sight of beauty I tell you.

Im from New Zealand so I guess it would be Australia considering the whole ANZAC spirit, too bad none of our sheep would be safe :)
Dont worry about your sheep we dont take sloppy seconds, an Australian should always pick a New Zealander, our bond is that strong
Ohh and gotta love our Friends to the East... are the sheep unsafe without their lads at home? Shame that.

I'll take the USA. We had the best time with them, I like the USA and there're still G.I.s in Germany for instant help. Union of kickass! Yet it was a tough call to decide between USA and UK... And yes, there will be pie :)

Only in 73, and we had to pay for them both in money and training hundreds of America's best soldiers. They weren't a gift.

In 48 and 67 we were on our own, in 48 with barely any weaponry, against an Arab alliance that outnumered us 120 to 1 (that's 120 soldiers against 1 Israeli including Israeli women and children) armed with the best Soviet weaponry.

I'm from the Netherlands and I trust the Germans. That's right, I would like the Germans to fight alongside me. Wouldn't trust any American who carries a gun, ditto for the French. I don't have much with the Brits and their politics, Belgium would be rather useless, and that's about all the likely candidates. Maybe the Canadians, I like them too.

Im American, and id probably choose either the UK or Australia, because the UK has one of the worlds greatest militaries, and the aussies are just B.A., being the only country i know of that has a good chunk of the population able to kill you with a boomerang.

The USA i am from the uk so it pretty easy to see why.We take the piss out of each other often but when shit hits the fan its normally the nation that is with us side by side.
This, pretty much. Although that's only because Obama seems to want to keep the UK-US ties active, and we'll be getting rid of Gordon Brown soon anyway (who I think Obama doesn't seem to like much anyway).

If it wasn't for that, though, and judging by the fact that the US seem to think our relationship is very much "US take, UK give", I would pick Australia. They at least respect the UK more as a nation, and have strong links with us too. I think if the UK was invaded then Australia would jump to our aid :).

I'm from the US, and I already know that every other country hates the "Infidels". And I can already guarantee any country that invades the US would have to be bigger than the US, so we would F*CKED before we fight.

I choose Poland. After whomever it is is tired of picking on Poland, they will have forgotten all about me. Besides, it's about time Poland got invaded again.

I would choose the UK, being a colony of theirs in the past kinda gives some connection.

I'm surprised all of you UKjerks (lol just kidding) aren't saying Australia, come on...we used to be a part of your country plus our ANZACS fought just for you, we have a decent military and very loyal people too your country.
Problem is your almost on the complete opposite side of the world and dont have the ability to quickly deploy to help us. Were only a small country, if were already being invaded we'll be gone by the time you get here.

Personally I think you should move your country closer, its to expensive to holiday there at the moment and you have all the good English speaking beaches

My country doesn't own any valuable resources or significant industry, has a small territory and is not a sacred place for any important religious group, so who would want to invade us in the first place?! If by any chance that happens, because of the same reasons I don't believe anybody would give a damn to intercede apart from humanitarian organizations.
What country are you from?
Thinking about it I was wondering why I couldnt think of a country that sounded that insignificant but ive realised that I wont be able to think of one because its so insignificant (no offence but this is how youve made it sound)

you have forgotten the rule

Natural enemies aren't allowed

And at least in the eyes of the dutch that's what holland and germany are
Only if you like football (which I don't). Politically, the Netherlands and Germany have been on the same page for years. ^^

England, Id go with Nepal (ignoring the distance) The Gurkhas have sent us tens of thousands of their best trained and incredibly awesome troops (best natural warriors in the whole world) for over a century.

There are nto many diplomatic 100% cast iron guarentees nowadays but if Nepal was invaded the UK would throw it's full might (military, resources, political influence) across the world to protect it.

History of American-Mexican relations you say?

Pray tell, are you speaking of the Mexican-American War, sparking by 2,000 Mexican troops crossing into Texas and killing or capturing a 70 man patrol of United States dragoons?

Or were you speaking of the actions of the United States during the Franco-Mexican War, where the US supplied arms and ammunition to Juárez's troops, forming a blockade to keep the French from landing more troops to help prop up Maximilian, demanded that France withdraw all troops from Mexico and protesting to Austria about Austria volunteers fighting for the Imperialists?

Back to the topic at hand, I'd pick Canada (our closest friend) or the UK for help
America took Texas from Mexico first.

Wrong!

Texas was an internationally recognized free state when it applied for voluntary annexation of the Republic of Texas to the United States of America . In fact, during the Pastry War (1838-1839), the French agreed not to offend the soil or waters of the Republic of Texas (1836-1846).

the Prisoner adds:

Their was the Mexican land grab of the area that Mexican people owned in the west and South West area of North America in now the United States.

The Mexican people owned the land in a shared capacity and through shady deals with the US gov't, speculators and lawyers their land was taken from them. I know my explanation is simplistic but the evidence is pretty easy to find. You can probably see why that some Mexican people are upset by the US and then we could go on later why Mexico didn't allow US citizens or business to own land in Mexico anymore. BTW, I'm not from Mexico.

the Prisoner
Yes, the territory claimed by the United States after soundly beating Mexico was an imperialistic land grab, there is no denying that. James K. Polk was an expansionist. However, an interesting little fact, the United States had tried to buy everything that was later claimed after the war. The Mexican government declined the sail, because it would hurt Mexico's pride.
