I really don't thinking wanting everyone alive to drop dead is healthy, sure wishing all the annoying people would go away is fine, but everyone? nope.

Well at least i'm in year 10. Only got three years to go then it's of to Uni. At least the people there will be there to learn and not just because they have to be. So you guys have finished high school and you don't feel the same hate? Thats good then.
It should just be a phase, Aussie (well atleast NSW) schools are bad at stopping bullying or giving kids other choices then play footy.
For me it was primary school that was the worse, altho high school had its times too. Yr 11 and 12 was better tho as it's not required and alot of the dumb ones that bully etc drop out, TAFE/Uni is the BEST :D

Ever since i went into high school i feel all my inocents has been lost and i've turned into a depressed, angry, nerdy, anti-social, sick, evil basterd. I just hate every one. Every one should die in a whole even me. I have a hour bus trip home from school. This is when my feelings are at there strongest. Every one on bus is a dick. I have my reasons for hating every one but i think you guys could proberly guess them. So is it normal to have these feelings and are there other people out there like me? (Just to lighten up the mood a little i'm want to do a little survey. Could every one please put what country they come from at the end of their status? I don't any one bagging out peoples countries otherwise you will just make my hate grow). I'm from Australia.
Aye, misanthropy is a burden. The world would be better off without humanity.

But meh. Can't fix the problem, and suicide is for cowards. Just try to make the best of it while you're here. Start with enjoying the little things.

Are you mad because you failed English? :p

I can sympathise with the desire for all human life to come to an end. Though my desire comes from the knowledge that we as a species (as the more direct result of only a few) will destroy the world within the next century or so.

I should note however, that my desire to see awareness spread and ignorance reduced in the hopes of redirecting our current zeitgeist into one more healthy and sustainable, is much stronger.

<3 from Australia.

Ps. Go watch "Zeitgeist" on YouTube. It will make you hate humanity even more but at least you will be more informed and perhaps find that there is a cause worthy of your time. :)

As many previous posters have said, it's not at all abnormal to hate everyone in high school. However, wishing for the destruction of mankind is not something everyone goes through and it's certainly not a healthy, nurturing state of mind for you to spend the next 3 years in. Most misanthropic loners can find at least one or two friends (I did), keep looking - don't just sit back and wait for university.

It's only normal if you happen to be listening to Justin Bieber at the time. Otherwise, you may want to seek professional help... If you're a pansy. If you've got real kahonays (Kahoneys? Kahonaeys?) You'll go out, get a shot gun and make your dream a reality!

(That's a joke... Don't... Don't do that...)

"You're missing so much by skipping highschool, Erana! How can you do that to yourself! The Prom! THE PROOOOOOOOM!"

Yeah, I had a chance to skip highschool and enroll straight into college. While the fact that most of the students cared about their education was awesome, the best thing by far is that I didn't have to go through highschool. Go find yourself a decent college; if you actually care, it will be one of the best periods of your life.

Honestly, I kinda wonder if highschool is the way it is because they have such low expectation of the behavior of the students. I mean, the authority works the same way in Highschool as it does in a Kindergarten, right? It seems a little peculiar to subject young adults to that.

Im from australia too, the country is run by old people and everyone else in the country is arrogant and obsessed with sport (the arrogance and love of sport is mostly co-existant). I dont want everyone dead but I would like alot of people to just fuck off.

Never felt that way, I mean their are jerks etc. but i never wanted everyone to die because of it. As far as I can tell not everyones a jerk and I know nice people. TBH though I am quite a solitary person anyway and people being jerks around me (although annoying) doesn't make me want them dead. I'm from England BTW

Ok, while the people in collage might be more mature, you can't expect to go through life with a misanthropic attitude and expect people to conform to what your idea of a good person is. You're going to have to grow as a person as much as they are, because you'll always find people that you really disagree with, and you need to develop a reaction beyond hatred.

Your just in high school. You're surrounded by supreme assholes all day long, it's only natural to hate them all, and humanity as a result. And on the bus it's even worse, cause you're stuck in a confined space surrounded by them in close quarters. It's like being on a plane surrounded by people who like Lady GaGa. They're just bound to piss you off.

and i'm from the UK
I like lady gaga!
well abit.

Its normal as long as you dont go killing them, thats not normal.

Tarry not, dude; The world of humanity is a fucked up place. I have similar feelings on a regular basis and so do many other people. You know what you need? You need to listen to some Heavy Metal music. Heavy Metal, video games, comic books and those few individuals who you can be true to yourself around: These are the aspects of life which make me want to continue, to try and find a semblance of peace with the world.

Have you tried channelling these feelings into any kind of artistic expression at all? Confront you disdain through understanding. Learn to know that you are merely a part of the thing which disgusts you and thus gain a better understanding of how the beast lives. This way, you can take control of your life and carve out an existence as far detached from that which you hate whilst still retaining contact with the things you love. But most of all, find people who feel the same.

I've lived a cush life. I've never gone hungry and I've always had a good supplied of the various toys to keep my unintelligent mind amused and distracted. But, like many, I have always been perplexed by modern society and struggled to function as a part of it. You're bound to feel hard done to, no matter what your conditions, but there will always be people in which to find solace. I myself am just passing the eye of the storm and I feel I'm a whole lot stronger for it. Find your people, dude. We're out there, feeling the hate just as much as you. I'm an Englishman, by the way.

I'd look into getting some help if you're genuinely depressed. I've been there, and it isn't fun.

Would a hug help?

EDIT: Oh! And I'm American.

*Seriously, though, see a doctor.

Yeah I remember that feeling, I used to get it quite often, mostly due to the bullying I received and the years I spent sitting in my room alone with my bitterness.

I feel better now, don't get me wrong I'd still murder three out of every five people I meet and not feel a shred of guilt, but I've realised while the majority of humanity is scum there are plenty of not quite so scummy people in existence, they just aren't as noticeable.

And by the way, yes it is normal, especially for a teenager and especially someone that has access to the net.

UK, England, Cumbria.
