No, I don't think it's bad. It's horrific to think we shouldn't be able to have emotions.

I may be biased since many people at school have seen me cry, because injustice makes me cry...

I hope it's not wrong.

I cry at the drop of a hat, basically.

Most recently, I cried at the end of Fruits Basket and came close to tears at the end of "The Fighter". Hell, I cried at the end of Dragon Age: Origins.

I cry "happy" tears, even. Even when everything wraps up nicely.
You cried after Fruits Basket? Better stay far away from Clannad then.

And go with Smugleaf.
I am well aware to stay far, far away from Clannad. I have a restraining order against that show.

I'm too manly to care if some broad sees me crying.
You're too busy selling phones and getting wonga.

OT: It's okay for guys to cry, just so long as they're manly tears of men. I mean that it's okay for you to cry at certain things, maybe a moving film or a death in the family. The things in the video, up till I watched anyway, were not okay to cry about, no matter who you are.

Edit:
Can't figure out how to get Escapist videos to run

I suppose you don't always have much of a choice. If I did, I would 10/10 times avoid it. This because, if someone who never, ever cries, cries, people will automatically grasp the gravity of the situation.

Of course its not wrong if something really bad happens, I just usually don't get very emotional over things and even when I do I express it in other ways. Not because I try to avoid crying but because that's just how it affects me

This basic of idea of what's manly is quickly, in the modern age, become more and more stupid. Maybe back in the past when "men had to be men" it was seen as weird and unnatural for men to cry because back then everyone expected men to be strong enough to hide away emotions like that.

Nowadays I don't think it applies. There's nothing wrong with guys crying. Crying's a normal form of expressive negative emotions, so to see it as "wrong" for guys to do that just seems retarded. Better they let it out when it happens than have them internalising all their sadness and negativity until they finally crack and kill themselves.

Its not wrong at all, but our pride gets in the way because we believe it makes us look weak, so we tend to bottle it up and take it on the chin.

I bawled my god damn eyes out when my girlfriend left me, sometimes we just cant help it regardless of what our stupid male pride says.

Its only bad when you got guys that will cry at ANYTHING, but this is also true for women. Otherwise I see no reason for why a guy can't cry, we still feel pain, emotional and physical.

Nothing wrong with it. That fact the men cry less just makes it more significant/meaningful when they do. On the flip-side of that, I sometimes find it irritating how easily and frequently some girls do cry.

Incidentally, there is good reason why men cry less. Crying requires the production of a particular chemical in the brain. As it happens, it is much harder for a guys brain to produce this chemical than for a girl's. Guys, you'll have experienced this if you've ever felt like you've wanted to/could have cried but have been physically unable to shed a tear.

I have no beef with guys who cry or are over-emotional. In fact, I'd prefer a guy who was open with his feelings to a clammed-up or emotionally repressed individual. The latter category frighten me somewhat.
