Adventure Time is awesome. It just seems like they made this show for the 20-somethings that still watch CN. My mom watched one episode, and it made her brain explode. It's a trip.

Im sorry im just letting off some pent up frustration after the first time i turn on cartoon network in over a year a find nothing but crap.

Any cartoons you'll miss?
Can anybody explain cartoon network's stupidity?
I must say I thoroughly approve of your missed cartoons list.

Myself, I miss Dexter's Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls (don't judge me :p ) and Samurai Jack, as well as the beloved Batman The Animated Series
Powerpuff Girls was awesome and 70% of people who claim otherwise are lying.

It doesn't matter about this one, there is no way kids wouldn't love it.

So

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo was AWESOME. I'm not so much of a purist that I can't enjoy a gag dub. Heh, "Old Max Yasgur had a Farm".

Agreed!

Wow man, that Bobb'e show is atrocious. He's acting like a young Chris Tucker. Way to perpetuate a ridiculous stereotype.
I don't have the cartoon network, instead in Canada we have Teletoon, and I can pretty safely say that it doesn't have any of those cheese-ball live action shows.
...
I don't watch it too much, so out of curiosity I checked the channel lineup, and tomorrow they're playing The Crow (Brandon Lee, live action..) what the hell is that doing on a cartoon channel? Thats about as weird as it gets though, the rest are animated shows.
That's at night time but there is a few shows they have on Teletoon that are live action

Ha, had wondered what happened to Andrew WK.

Hmmm...mostly old or imported stuff. Maybe they're struggling for money? Making cartoons might be a long and expensive process.

Yeah...

Well keep in mind MTV went balls up when it was nothing but game shows and interracial dating. Nothing wrong with that but when it choked all music videos out to 45 minutes a day scatters between these horrible shows...where is the music?

Seriously, the people who killed Toonami and subsequently Cartoon Network better have changed their names and gone into hiding, I'm really going to start a list of people who screw good things up and slaughter them. Games based on movies are another thing, they just have them made to get some quick cash but ultimately they don't put time or effort into them (there are exceptions but those are few and far between).

This is a lesson everyone learns at one point or another: eventually, anything good will become bad. The wrong people will get a hold of it and try to squeeze out more money, and business interests are almost diametrically opposed to creativity. It's just a sad fact of life. The only thing you can do is move on to something else the moment you see things trending downward.

Do they still have Foster's home for imaginary friends?

If so then for that one reason they cannot be called a shitty network, but if they've taken it off air...

last i checked ben10: alien force was actually pretty good. not sure how its doing now (i think its ultimate alien now) other than that it all looks like shit though

Nickelodeon is FAR worse though for the most part. nothing but lousy spoungbob and shitty pre-teen comedies that aren't funny. it HAD avatar the last airbender but after it finished everything went to crap....although if i am not mistaking, Saban is bringing back powerrangers on nick now so maybe there is some light at the end of this tunnel of mediocrity (we can dream)

I'd say those live action shows are ..horrific.

Truth is, I have seen some good kiddy sitcoms. A lot of them were well made, so long as they don't try to be all serious. I really like Latest Buzz, and things like that. I wouldn't mind watching those all day.

But when they start putting in a ton of reality show..that's a recipe for disaster.

At least they are much better than the ones I'm seeing here in Australia. Any kids show out of the Commonwealth will put any shows you posted to shame.

And seriously? They're making MORE Total Drama? The first season was bad, the second equally horrible, and they are making the third?

This video is but a gem in a mountain of shit.

This is where I learned about this.
