Since I finally played GTA4, I have a comment about that image. He does realize that the main moral lessons of GTA4 are that the criminal life sucks ass, drugs and drunk driving will get you killed, and that the glorification of gang life is retarded? Seriously, there's enough material in that game to write a ten-page paper just on that alone.

Oh wait, I forgot: he never played the game.

I can't wait for him to try and get back into law, only to instantly get shut down.
he hammers a company that if you actually look beyond the facade, they have very morally correct games.

how about he fucking reads the bible while playing the halo franchise. then he will actually have something to ***** about

heh im glad hes back,
ive been waiting for someone to humilate themself.

But why does he have to try and humilate the whole justice system itself, he has been disbared, in a figuritive sence, but can come back due to a mistake. Well this is like letting a murder off because someone put his phone number down wrong. (i would have used a colombine example of this for irony to Jacks arguments itself, but i have more respect, for the people who died there, than to drag them into this.)

well lets just say the length he will stoop to, make me sick, and without more appropriate launguage i cannot voice my oppinion on his "comback" in its entirety.

You know, I think they got the games mixed up... That should be Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, right?

What was Jack doing this past year anyway? Looking through all the convoluted rules of legal proceedings trying to find something he could use?

The children of this country have a selfless self-righteous man to stick up for them! Wow, that's great!

In all seriousness though, screw minors, if banning them from playing games means I can play whatever I want without a rating system interfering and censoring games, so be it.

EDIT: GREAT IDEA. Every adult gamer should chip in to buy a legal team for us, and we should sue the government for discrimination and hate speech, using experimental data which shows games are actually a vent, not an agitator/trigger device.
Yes, that's a good idea. But would being a "gamer" really count for anything? We'll just be shot down for not being a real race or practice or whatever you call it.

God I hope they're right over at Game politics. It doesn't matter that any sane person can see that he's a loon obsessed with an entertainment medium that he's never played, there are still people who'll think he's making sense. Where do these people come from anyway?

I believe Mr Thompson to be a first class idiot having did a little research upon him. Having said that, he is perfectly entitled to free speech.

Having said all of this, there's something about the latest photograph of him which almost makes me sympathise for him. He's almost like a modern day Captain Ahab from Moby Dick - he looks untidy, dishevelled and almost beaten.

In his own way, he tries to make the world a better place - by trying to regress it to the 1950's or something. But he's going to have to face facts that the world is a lot different to how he sees it.

I think he's deluded and is due for another legal defeat seeing that he seems to be the laughing stock of the American Courts. (From what little I know.) I hope he finds a better outlet for his rage and other pent up emotions.

I don't hate the guy himself, we could get along I mean he's just doing what he thinks is right and we all know it won't work. I actually find his stories entertaining.

I don't know about Florida's punishments for this, but I know in some states unlicensed practice of law is a felony with 5 years/$5,000 fine. Considering how much he pissed off the Florida Supreme Court, I hope that by Halloween, Jack Thompson will be found guilty of that felony and is given maximum punishment...
