I'd be intrigued to see how many of the "What an dumb arse you are for breaking the law!" people have dabbled in drugs, drank underage, or have broken the law in some other way. I've yet to meet anyone who's squeaky clean and has never broken a single law, whether they've been caught or not so calling a guy out for it just seems odd.

Crying like a ***** on the other hand...damn dude.

Round here there are some roads where people make up the speed limit as they go along and almost everyone follows suit. One stretch of road in particular is a 40 yet it's common, especially at 5 am or 10 pm to see people doing 60.

Personally I think some roads need a speed limit rethink. There is another road, very bendy with blind curves and hills which is 60. Hit one of those bends at 60 whilst a tractors coming the other way and you'll soon regret it, yet other roads like the afforementioned 40 zone are big, double laned, less bends yet are 20mph less.

Here's a "pro tip" I learned after my friend was pulled over doing around 110 on a motorway: If you're going to speed like a loon, make sure you're not the rear car because the police always pull them over, ignoring the car infront of you doing exactly the same speed.

Wow almost beats my ,"omg I'm getting pulled over by a sexy chick in uniform" line, my friend almost died from embarrassment and I got her number.

Idc that you were speeding. "All" teenagers do.

But there is a difference between being slick to avoid a ticket and using you "pro" acting skills to cry like a little girl.

Overall my assessment is that this is not a cool thing to brag about.

EDIT: Used nicer words.

Well, I could argue with you over the motives of your post, but no-one truly knows them (not even you).

You're assuming he hasn't seen any of your other posts.

YOU referenced that he was 'new here'. You're making assumptions based on very little. What I see, is someone raising a valid criticism, only to be refuted with fluff. So what if he's knew? He doesn't need to read every one of your posts to form an opinion about one of them. He's not judging YOU, in the same way I'm not judging YOU. He's commenting on your post and its implications. Don't take it so personally.

I find it hard to tolerate such rude language, but I do tolerate it. PUOSU.
See the irony in correcting spelling and then using the wrong new / knew? Yeah. (In case it isn't obvious I also think that guy is completely clueless posting as he did, and as correctly pointed out a hypocrite (oh and he was judging her 'ego', so he was judging her)).

I have yet to be in any real trouble, but then again I live in Switzerland...
My brother on the other hand who was picking me up from some football match missed a sign which said you can't drive through here. Cop came, managed to blame it on all the other people doing it and not seeing the sign (other people in front of him did it and didn't get away with it), hurrah.

so, i was going home, wasnt payin attention, turns out i was goin 30 over, and i get pulled over, and i started whimpering and crying a little (ty acting lessons) and said my girlfriend just broke up with me, and he came back a sec later said it was my lucky night and i should slow down, i was curious, how often do people actually get off like this, seriously, not even a stern warning, just a "slow down"
Dude, AWESOME! The crying, though, you might wanna rethink. I actually got off on 25mph over one day when a motorcycle cop pulled me over, for no reason that I can think of except maybe being pleasant, and just yesterday got out of a 20 over ticket, same deal. Have you tried saying that you're going to bible study (I've seen it work several times right in front of me)?

I've still never been pulled over or anything, so I don't have any stories. Still, officers tend to let people go with a warning like in the OP pretty often, even without fake acting.

A few points.
1: You are not awesome.
2: Please tell me that's not 30 miles over.
3: The cop should be punished for not doing his job properly. If you were emotional to the point of not being able to drive properly he should have fined you and made you catch pubblic transport home not drive off to endange the lives of other further.
4: What is "Hard Lemonade?"
5: Bragging about breaking the law on the internet does not make you cool

Proud of being a dangerous asshole and then whimpering like a schoolgirl (not the good kind) all in the same day? You have a shit life for that to be something you tell to people on the Internet. Especially the escapist, the most motherly bunch of people on the netwebs.
Pretty much both these couldn't be more accurate.

OP, what you did would constitute losing your licence over here in the UK. Perhaps that's the one bit of law we have right.

Going over 45 in a 30 zone = Instant 12 month ban.
Going over 100 on a Motorway (70mph speed limit) = 12 month ban. 18 months if you're an asshole about it.

I pray you weren't in a residential area with children in too.

Wow, this guy beat me to it.
So..... Yeah. Anyone who says "like a pro" is NOT awesome, and you deserved to get a ticket if you were going 30 over.

Ok, first of all, everyone who is calling OP an asshole for speeding seriously need to shut up. Even if he was going 30 over, controlling a car is not difficult, if you know what the hell you are doing when you are driving speeding poses no more of a threat to anyone than just driving the speed limit does. It all has to do with the drivers ability to control the vehicle, and if OP was able to safely control his vehicle at that speed, more power to him.

Fairly recently me and two friends got caught by the police about to smoke weed, bong in my hand, in the car on some hill that's usually virtually deserted. Since we were caught red handed we just owned up and took the rap. We were honest with them, answered all the questions etc and in turn they were polite to us in return and didn't even search us. Still got the street side warning and they took our weed obviously.

I'm happy how it turned out. At least we kept our dignity, I'd rather take the rap like that instead of crying like a *****, faked or not.

I've been pulled over seven times (six for speeding. I drive fast, but I'm always driving safe. I'm the preferred driver amongst my friends) and never gotten more than a warning.

Beat that! (Because quite honestly, I can't explain it)
Forgive me if this is out of line, but... are you female?

I have a friend (girl) who has been pulled over like 10 times and has only been ticketed once, whereas I have been pulled over 5 times and gotten tickets for the DUMBEST shit imaginable. I moved to a new city, and the next day I get a ticket for not having a "city sticker," which is a dumb decal that proves you pay tax on your car (which I didn't yet, because I had just moved, but I got the ticket anyway), then I got a new car and got a ticket for not having a frong license plate (despite the fact that the car didn't even have a spot for one). So yeah, I ask because, unfortunately, that might explain it ;)

If not, I got nothing.
No, I am not a female. I guess I'm just lucky!

My worst offense was going 50 mph in a 20 mph school zone (school was not in session though, so don't anyone jump on my case about endangering children's lives now). That one I should have gotten a ticket for. I had no excuse for the officer other than, and I quote, "I didn't see the speed sign and I'm not from this area." Again, just another warning.
