So what is motivating you to keep argumenting with me that it's the best solution to our current problems?

Fear or greed?
Actually its logic.
Its not the best solution because its impossible.
Here is your logic

phase one: take away all currency
phase two: PERFECTION!

you can only back up your arguments with hypothetical statistics and a fist full of "NUH UH YOU PESSIMISST ZOMBIES" phrases. We keep saying that no one will work for free and all you keep saying is "NUH UH!". We say that its logically impossible to uphold, you say "NUH UH". All your doing is covering your ears and going "NAH NAH NU-NAH NAH" like a child. The one factor we keep arguing about is human nature, and as hitories tells, humans are dicks. Selfish, greedy, dirty dicks.
That last bit came out wrong.
And all you keep saying is "NUH UH! YOU DONT KNOW COS YOU NEVER TRIED!". Well I've never tried drinking cyanide but I know its gonna kill me.

You sound like a pessimist.

And I don't see the logic in not having a backup plan.

JWAN, I edited your quote a little bit just to put it into context, nothing serious, hope you don't mind... I really needed that quote.

Resource-based economy would need money, you need some kind of form of payment... ever hear of the worlds first profession?
You mean the only way you can get laid is because of money?

Hmm.. I have a feeling that certain arguments are beginning degrade into petty name calling. Is that what they teach at those new-fangled utopian schools?

"Yeah, you don't agree with me? Well.. umm.. You smell! And you're a pessimist! You don't have friends! And.. Uhh.. So there!"

Anyway, let us know how the magic self-building robots and interplanetary smiley faces go! Good luck!

You've got my vote, Zeke!

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

When you obtain lemonade, throw it in the eyes of those who annoy you.

the thing is that this would only work if first we built machines to do all of the work, and two we had unlimited resources

The world dose not want saving every human tribe(culturally speaking) wants their pound of flesh and to rule absolutely be it sternly or ineptly.

Humanity has a few hundred years more to get over itself to work together for common goals that people from all regions wont ***** and throw hissy fits about.

Christ the Escapist is so blown to buggery I can't even quote you so sorry. Anyway, where's the incentive to work unless you recieve pay?
What's the incentive for people to give blood? What's the incentive for people to volunteer for anything? Incentive is the produce of scarcity when you think about it.
Yeah do a tally on volunteers and full blown lunatic asshats that want to rape pillage and steal given the chance.

Why must we have unlimited resources? The demand for goods, products and materials will be scheduled and calculated in order to prevent wasting too much resources.

Examples:

You have a DVD collection, video games collection, music cd collection... why keep those? All those movies, games, music can be accessed at any time for free just by the click of a button.

You got 10 different cell phones that have different options... why? You can get a single cell phone that will be optimal in every way possible and posses all the functions you desire.

I have trouble finding more examples of useless stuff that we keep around because we are being led to believe that to consume is to live... truth is we hardly have anything of real value, most of the objects we buy are designed to break from the very moment they are produced and the resources used to make them is just a fraction of what it should really be.

I know nobody will want to let go of the objects they adore but, with time, they're going to love the new gadgets even more because there is less restrictions behind everything.

Water only costs money because its is somebody's job to man the pumps, fix the water pipes etc. bottled water on the other hand is a corporate gold mine but really its the buyers choice.
What if the economy becomes so weak that nobody can afford to/want to do those jobs anymore?

Ding Ding Ding!!!

we have a winner for dumbest thing ever said.

these are vital infrastructure jobs, no one just says "i don't wanna do it" because someone else will be ready to take that job, its sure fire pay, the government pays you, if they don't the whole planet is gone to shit and theres really no point to the communist idea you have. who cant "afford" to get paid?
Or they just replace the workers with robots.

hmm, a site that has to do with all things apocalyptic, sounds like a creditable source of information for micro chip implants. why don't i go and talk to a lawyer about politics, they all wear suits right?
I googled the first website that talked about microchip implant that was not wikipedia. There was a nice picture of what I was talking about.

There are many things that a robot simply can not and will not be able to do. there will always be jobs for people, if there aren't the world will of gone to shit and your perfect utopia of Marxism won't be able to save it.
