How many (relatively) objective sources can confirm this? I mean, obviously North Korea will insist that the citizenry love the country. If that happened in a country inhabited with people from the Western World - there would be a revolution and an uprising. I don't keep track of Korea at all but I was surprised about North Korea's reaction to this. Seriously look it up on youtube if you haven't, it is insane the way the entire population is crying. Was this man a God or something? Would the entire population of the USA cry over Obama dying? Not really considering there are Republicans who wouldn't cry about him but I digress.

To the N. Koreans (at least in the big cities because that is all they show to the outside world), Yes, he was a God. If you live in N. Korea, you MUST be a member of Kims cult of personality...or you get dropped in a ditch with a bullet in you neck. Sorry I mispoke. When I said war I meant a revolution in North Korea that gets rid of Kim Jong Ils regime. Otherwise his successor takes charge and it's more or less business as usual for Korea. And just because I mentioned war that doesn't necessarily mean war with us.AngloDoom said:
