The first sounds very interesting, but it might be hard to always find people to do the work instead of shooting on the internetXanadu84 said:Crescendo events where there's things to do besides shooting, like a player turning a crank, carrying supplies, operating machinery or something.
Last thing I want to see is an integration between the 2 games. Frankly, I don't like the new characters, and basically want to see the game improved instead of an entirely new game. So I hope I can still discover more interesting things that Francis hates.
Looking forward to Dead Rising 2 are we? =PIxionIndustries said:Vehicles and traps.
Like you can drive a motorcycle with chainsaws attatched to it, or you could move baseball pitching machines in a hallway, and have it chuck them at zombies.
indeed...somelameshite said:Hey if it looks like a zombie, moans like a zombie and tries to eat you like a zombie... its a zombie.Evil mr dave said:technically the "zombies" in left 4 dead arn't zombies their infected, living humans infected with a rbies like virus.

heres how it goes, you bring in your copy of left 4 dead and the stor gives you a large discount on left 4 dead 2, so it feels mpre like your just buying an expantion pack. however if you don't have a copy of left 4 dead then you have to pay full price.
since valve has stated they will include the four original campaigns this won't be a big loss if you already own it and if you don't then your paying full price for a full price game, good idea... right?
really though you can't add any new kinds of guns becuase there all so balanced but they could add different varients to each kind of gun.akmarksman said:a scene where they go into the safe room and it's filled with blinking computer screens..that say "downloading Episode 3.. %45 done) and it has a progress bar and it keeps resetting itself..
that would be a nice way of VAlV3 saying
F U to the people waiting for Ep3... *evil laughter*
Or hearing a survivor (like that douche at the church safe house) talk about how cool playing L4D on his PS3 is..and then you hear a zombie scream and then you hear the guy scream..
Features?
How about break-able objects so I'm not stuck on just one path to the safehouse? I want more of a sandbox style game..not a rail shooter or platformer..save that for the Wii owners..
Drive-able vehicles?
grappling hook?
better explosive objects?
the ability to electrify zombies by getting a power line into a pool of water on the floor..like setting a trap with 2 survivors filling up a tub with water and the 3 survivor breaking a main line on a fuse box and dropping the live wire when the zombies break down the door..
The ability to open gas mains on the outside of buildings so you can effectively block off a path by tossing a molotov near it when it's shooting out gas..and having it effect the rest of the area around..like manhole covers on the sewer system shooting up from the force of the explosion..and the resultant noise attracting more zombies..
Small propane torches so you could weld a metal door shut..and to reinforce it,get metal strips from say a metal bookcase and have a survivor weld the door shut and reinforce it..
electric cars scattered around the area..and the ability to switch out the dead batteries for good ones and being able to use it as a transport car..
Searching bodies so you could find a remote start for a vehicle and use it as a diversion.
Light Machine Guns..like the M249 SAW with 200rnd box mags and even say..50 or 100 round loose belt ammo..
Plenty of other ideas but I'll stop here.
just torrent a copy if you want it so bad. fyi, i live in canada, the land of legal torrents (insert evil laugh)somelameshite said:Evil mr dave said:heres a thought, have a trade in plan

How about those who bought it over Steam? They have no solid copy of the game.
