I'd probably hope to convince them against shooting me by saying "If you knew the repercussions of what you're about to do then you would never even consider doing it. Believe me." in an authoritative tone of voice that suggests I know something they don't. If they decided to shoot me anyway then at least I gave it a shot. Perhaps they would be left to wonder what I was talking about and it would haunt them for the rest of their lives. At least that would give me some solace if I found myself drawing my last breath anyway.

For me, it would probably be one of three scenarios, depending on how much of my soul is locked within despair's crushing embrace :
A) "I wish I could say that this surprised me. As it is, it's actually somewhat disapointing."
