They is totally inappropriate to use here. That refers to multiple people. It would actually work better, and I assume Alex would prefer it if it doesn't even mind what people think it is. Really though, leaving it gender-less is just mind boggling and confusing for everyone. I've called it "him" by mistake at least six times now, and having to correct it drives me insane.
As the stones fell away, a think layer of energy was seen to surround Oliver. It had saved him from the impact, but the sheer force of it had forced the barrier to nearly crush the hero itself. As soon as he was clear he dropped the shield and fell to his knees, gasping for breath. As he attempted to recover, May came back on the scene, diving off of a nearby building and swinging at Amaranth's back.
Well dragon seeing as how Oliver can imbue his "anti teleportation" power in objects garret has never teleported at a significant point in this arc.

Underneath the armour Cameron has an average, muscular build. His face is tan and scars mark his lower left jaw and chin. His hair is fairly long and black. On his arms there are scars on his forearms and biceps and resting on his sternum is a Gold diamond shaped necklace with a swirling red center. His armour is as seen in the photo.
Personality:Cameron is a well natured person in battle and tends to be proper when fighting. Towards others he is rather outgoing and follows chivalry.
Powers: Cameron has control over a holy white fire. He can channel this energy into his sword making it be able to cut through steel and metal with ease.
Sword:Cameron's sword is made from an indestructible material and glows white in sunlight. His armour is made of reinforced steel.
Bio:Cameron was born in an isolated hut to his two parents outside a fishing village. Cameron attended school and got fair grades in the fishing village, he loved going fishing. One day at the age of 15 after his father got drunk and came home Cameron ran quickly before being beaten to go fishing in a pond, the thing he did when stressed, He quickly caught two fish and started gutting them, on the second fish a small necklace fell out. A diamond shaped golden necklace with a swirling red center. He reached down and touched it. When he touched it a quick flurry of images barraged his mind of a man in black armour. He dismissed it as the heat and ignored the odd sensation in his mind. He came home to his drunk father and showed him the necklace. His father reached down to touch the necklace his finger was burned as if the necklace was red hot. "I told you never to use your power on me!" He yelled as he brought his fist towards Cameron's confused face, he hadn't heated the necklace. Cameron blacked out before the fist hit his head. When he awoke he was standing over his fathers body, with his heart in his hand(Cameron's hand) his mother was screaming calling him a "Monster" and a "Demon" Cameron stammered and backed away. In the back of his mind a playback of his father being killed was being played. But it was taloned black coated hands killing his father, not his own. You didn't like him anyways A cold voice said in the back of his head.

Appearance: Dren is the soul possessing Cameron. His armour is black and trimmed with red with jutting spikes and blades on it and his sword is turned jagged and shield are also coated in black. His armoured fingers will turn into black razor sharp talons.
Personality
ren is homicidal and prefers to kill then to talk. He is very satirical and rude.
Powers:
Corruption: Dren can corrupt objects. If he were to grab your arm for a small period of time it would start turning black and becoming dead. If dren fully corrupts someone he will become a thrall. A possessed version of the being before. Dead bodies can not be corrupted so the person has to be alive to be corrupted. Touching water and food for extended periods will turn them deadly.
Corrupt blade: The new corrupt sword can inflict wounds that will inflict lethargy upon the wounded. The wound will have veins of black sprouting from the edges, longer veins for more prolonged exposure. More veins, more lethargy.
Black fire: Dren can channel black fire into the corrupt blade to cut through objects more easily, he can also fire burts of it through his hand.
Bio: Dren was a mass murderer and a bandit in medieval times. After killing 300 people 20 of them high mages and 30 of them powerful knights. It took 20 of the strongest knights to arrest him and 10 high mages to bind him. After being hung there was the difficulty of destroying his soul. Dren had too much will for the soul to be broken so the High mages bound it to the diamond in the center of a necklace and cast it into a lake. after many hundreds of years a boy picked up the gem. Dren examined the boy and on contact decided he was a good place to possess. Unfortuantly for Dren could not possess the boy entirely because of his will. Feeding on his fear and anger Dren took control before his Cameron's father hit him and ripped out his heart. He was happy with the boy's abilities and started talking to the boy about what kind of situation he was in. Dren told the boy to go to the desert and dig, after some digging they found the age old body of one of the paladins Dren had killed they took the armour and sword, then left. Cameron bought an apartment in a city and decided to live there

As may Jumped towards him, Amaranth shot out a blast of wind and a blast off ire out of different hands. He felt tired from summoning more than one power at a time, but it had worked. The fire and wind moved towards each other, the high pressure and low pressure spinning quickly and creating a small tornado made out of fire, sending it towards May in hopes that it would stop her, his wings by themselves wouldn't be fast enough to dodge mid air.

P.S. In the new arc, I hope you understand that Roxanne will not appear at all... By ditching this character, you have pretty much not let them be apart of the next arc... YOur kid might though... Depends...

The tornado swept May up inside of it, spinning her about helplessly, as she tried to find some way to get moving again. Oliver moved to help her, but stopped and realized that she could handle herself; his focus was Amaranth. Leaving May to find a way out of the tornado herself, Oliver conjured a pair of wings, to mimic Amaranth's appearance, and flew up into the air. His energy arm converted itself into a massive claymore.
Oliver smiled as he remembered back when the team had first formed. His fight with the villain Curtis, and Avian and Garret, all the press conferences they had been forced into. Then it hit him, as if a switch had been flipped in his mind.
"I've got it!" He shouted to the world. "I figured it out!"

"Wow, stupid and Crazy" Amaranth muttered at Oliver. He pointed his finger at him, and a massive ice spear formed behind him, then rocketed towards him, just aiming to stab him in the leg, making him open for a better attack.

Oliver, not about to let his good mood be spoiled, used his greatsword to slice straight through the ice spear, its useless fragments falling down to the ground and quickly melting from the heat, as the island fell apart around them. He then charged forward and swung with his sword straight at Amaranth's throat. With the sword attached directly to him, he found the greatsword much easier to use than the last time he'd attempted it.

May, meanwhile, found that the tornado was now over a building. She grabbed hold of a pole sticking out from the roof, and managed to climb her way down. Once touching the roof with her feet, she took off in a run, going in rapid circles against the spinning of the tornado. In short order, the twister was dispersed, leaving a very tired May standing alone, trying to catch her breath before rejoining the battle. She looked over the side to see Jason just standing there.
What the hell is he doing? Oliver can't do this himself, that idiot needs to get off his ass and fight!

Amaranth beat his wings as hard as he could, forming two massive balls of air in them. He then pushed as hard as he could, throwing the air at Oliver, and pushing himself back, avoiding the slash at his throat. Unfortunately, the air pushed him back to far, and he slammed into the building behind him. He regained his sense as quickly as he could, only falling a few metres.
Dren is in the same body as Cameron but since cameron had a strong will Dren could not have full control. Dren gains control when Cameron become, depressed,fearful,angry negative emotions like that they do not combine powers they switch out
Oliver was surprised by the attack from Amaranth, or at least the style of it. He had little time to react, and was knocked into a building on the opposite side of the street, the walls shattering as if they were graham crackers instead of concrete and steel. However, a few moments later he exited from the hole he had made, bleeding from the back of his head but otherwise intact. He threw himself from the building, his greatsword being swung in a wide arc, attempting to make sure he could not miss Amaranth this time.
