League Of Sidekicks 3: Future Perfect -- Closed and Over...

Rachel looked at Oliver and crossed her arms. "Oliver, I asked when we're leaving. I want to head out as soon as I can and... where's Jason? And why did Alex leave? Christ, can people stop walking off?" She grunted in frustration and took one deep breath. "Alright, someone go get Alex and Jason, Oliver and me will work out when to go back and who's coming and who' staying, and I guess the rest of you should ready your gear. We're heading out soon." She looked towards the others and waited for them to go.

Oliver nodded and approached Rachel, trying to think of any good last orders to give. "You should leave as soon as everyone's ready. I'll be heading out in less than an hour, so I'd suggest you try and get moving about a half hour after that, maybe sooner. And take everyone when you go back. No sense in trapping anyone in a doomed timeline. As for the specific time, I'd say after the time we left for the future would be a good place. But once you're back you'll be on your own on finding Minus. The database has extremely little on his true identity. There's nothing else to say, but good luck. I have faith in you, Rachel, you can do this." Oliver put his hand on her shoulder and smiled. "Now then, I have to go find Jason."

He turned and left the room in a bit of a rush. He didn't want to admit it, but he knew it would be the last time he saw the people in that room.

Shadow stalked down the dimly lit streets of Bright Grove,letting her powers float in a thick fog around her. She had had her fun for today, her now blood soaked clothes were proof enough of that. She revelled in the dark red substance, it was her prize and she had enjoyed the game.

It had been years since she had seen Ana, and somehow she hadn't changed... It must have been some kind of trick. 'Analiese should be older than me... Surely she must of aged... Those pathetic little white mages know nothing of the promise of power and immortality. They will die old... Ana wont have that luck. And now that I've felt the pull in her aura towards that sword fighter... Well, perhaps watching a loved one die before her is better punishment than death itself...' Shadow smirked at her new plan. She had not come looking for Ana before now so that she could perfect her powers. Now that she was strong, there was no stopping her.

Shadow looked up at the tall buildings surrounding her. 'Now to find the man who attacked them before... Surely he would find a partnership to mutual advantage...'

Minus laughed, "All the killing you could ever want." he said towards Dren. He walked over to the window and looked out, it was night time now again, the moon was now still completly full. Through the light of the moon, he saw a woman down there, fog surrounding her and just her. "Simon?" he called out, and a man walked through the door instantly.
"Yes Sir" he asked.
"I did kill off everyone with powers in my town correct?" Minus asked his servent.
"Correct sir, nobody left." the servent answered.
"Oh... Go down and see what that girl wants... I'll protect you from up here" Minus answered and pointed his right hand down towards her. He had a bullet ready to fire out at her, incase things went bad quickly.

The servent looked out the window, "Okay" he said then walked out. He moved out their quickly, and minus saw him walk out their with his staff. He walked over to the girl, holding his staff in defence. "What are you doing here?" he asked, being far enough away to be not effected by the fog.

Ashe looked as Oliver stormed off. He glanced at Ana, she looked incredibly woozy and shaky. He walked over there, since he had no direct order yet and offered his hand to her, to help her stand up. "Need a hand?" he asked in a cheery voice.

Hivemind swallowed the cigarette and waved to Ana. "Welcome back, Ana. Nice to see you among the living once more." He laughed harmlessly and stretched "On the other hand are you all right? You look a tad dizzy. As with the rest of us welcome to the search team..." He laughed again and gave her a thumbs up sign.

"Nope, I've got nothing." He shrugged lazily and cracked his neck he then turned to the other people in the room "Any of you guys know when we're heading out?" He smiled to himself. "Though I do kind of like this place nice and roomy that's for sure. "

Sorry for not posting in a while, I missed the post where Minus responded to Magus's suggestion... was waiting for a response.

"What other countries would we take over? I mean... What could we possibly gain from that? As far as we know, we're the only ones with powers... aside from the Renegades."

Minus never took his eyes off the girl as he answered Magus, "Any of them really." he said flatly, "Who cares if we are the only ones with power, I still want other countries." he glanced quickly at Magus, his hand still pointing towards the girl, "Besides, World domination is the ultimate plan, and how can they call themselves heroes if they don't try and save a country?" he then turned back around and looked at the girl still, waiting for her to make her move.

Ana took Ashe's hand and a spark of energy flew up her arm. "Thank y-" Ana stopped and started for a moment. Then suddenly she was on her feet with her arms wrapped around Ashe's neck.
"Why are you all covered in blood!? What happened?? I heard screams... And..." She was so flustered and worried she didn't even realise she had kissed Ashe square on the lips until she had heard Abhaya's voice. "eeep..."

Ana hid behind Abhaya quickly, trying not to look too weird. "I'm ok Abhaya, thank you for asking." '"eep" why the hell did I just "eep"?'

"I don't really know what's going on... What happened?" She had stepped out from behind Hivemind, hoping that her blush had faded.

Shadow pretended to start shaking and held her arms up innocently. 'This guy looks weak as piss, heh... Maybe he could lead me to better options'Ana smirked inwardly.

"P-p-please sir, I am lost and as you can see, injured. Could you take me to the leader of this city, I would like to know where I am..." She put on a child like voice, sensing that this guard perhaps had a young daughter. His eyes softened at her vulnerable appearance. She was right.

She was lead inside one of the gray buildings. 'Poor man, hope he does lead me to something decent... Or I'll have to kill everyone here...'

Shadow's character is so arrogant and self confident. She's under estimate anyone... Just saying for future preference, it might help win against her

"I thought our goal was to kill off the Renegades... if that's the case... then shouldn't we target countries based on what resources they could offer?"

"That is just like a side bonus" Minus answered, "And they are their weaker selves, they shouldn't have any resources available really."

'Why was that 40 year old girl acting like a kid? Oh well, lord Minus will know what to do.' the servant thought as he showed her into the building. He led her straight into the room with Minus and the other converted renegades.
He bowed deeply and showed her to Minus, "This is the girl."
Minus turned quickly, and looked at her. "Why are you in my town? And don't bother lying or trying to fight your way out." he said with a sweep of his arm, "You wouldn't make it out alive."

Ashe wasn't expecting that. He was just expecting her to take his hand and lift her up, not a kiss. His face turned deep red, and he avoided eye contact with everyone. To try and get the focus on something else he said loudly "Okay, we should go onto this mission, try and find these guys!" he yelled. As his mouth said words, his mind raced, 'Why would she do that? It was very nice... But why?' he thought to himself.

"Whatever... just give me a call when you need me to kill someone challenging for you... just don't make me wait too long..." Magus walked into the newspaper room chuckling to himself.

Ana tried to edge towards Ashe. "I'm... sorry for that... I don't know what came over me... Listen, if we get through this... I need to tell you something important." She smiled and winked.

"I really like you Ashe... So, take care ok?" With that she nodded and started to glow, using her powers to free her body from its former wounds.

Once feeling free and sensing her magic again, Ana began to walk towards the door, planning to visit the room belonging to her and Ashe to try and find anything that may aid them.

Shadow smirked at the man in front of her. In one swift move she had pulled a switch knife out of her belt and stabbed the man behind her in the stomach. As the other guards edged forward she created a thick fog around her.

"If you trully think I wouldn't make it out alive, perhaps you should think again. As for what I'm doing here... Heh, I've come to kill this little lech." with that Shadow threw a picture of Ana as a child towards the man.

"Now then." She was suddenly right in front of Minus. Her eyes glowing red. I believe we could come to some agreement that ends with me spilling her blood. Don't you think?" Shadow smirked and allowed her fog to begin dissipating.

Rachel watched Ashe as he yelled that it was time to go. D'awww, those two are cute. Reminds me of... Christ, what was his name? Tom. Yes, Tom. She coughed slightly and nodded to Ashe. "Good idea. Let's get moving. We need to find gear and make sure everyone is good before we leave. We need to be out of here as soon as possible." She moved her arms towards the doors to get people moving. Just a little longer now. I need to grab my armor in case we have to put the kid down. I don't think I can do that... but I might have to... She drifted off, waiting for the others to go.

Minus raised an eye brow as she stabbed his servant, then moved quickly to confront him. He moved two of his fingers in his hand, and a gust of wind broke out, pushing Shadow well away from him. "So you come in here? Kill on of my servants? Then try and threaten me? That isn't how this works." he said, being slighlty annoyed as he watched one of his favourite servants die. "Do you know how annoying it is to train them?" he said as he kicked hi lightly in the head, making sure he was dead.

He sighed heavily, "Fine, pledge your loyalty to me and you can stay. No killing any more servants though, if you want to kill people, accompany the group on the mission."

Ashe's cheeks were still glowing red, and he was still having trouble trying to avoid eye contact. When Ana spoke to him, he was startled. He tried to calm down, 'Breath slowly' he thought to himself.

"It's okay. I liked it... I just wasn't expecting it." he said to her. "I like you to..." he said quietly. He watched her take a few steps, but as she got a few steps away, he reached out and grabbed her arm, pulling her close to him. When she neared, he kissed her on the lips, then quickly felt his face heating up again, becoming more red than before. He kissed her for a while, then stopped, his face still looking like a tomato.

He let go of her hand and moved away quickly, trying to act professional and failing miserably.
