Shadow laughed. "A servant is a servant, training could not be so hard for a 'profiscient' trainer." She smirked as she teased the man.

She had landed lightly on her feet when he had tried to push her away using wind. She pretended to be bored and inspect her nails, smirking all the while and reaking of sinister confidence.

"Ha, you want my loyalty? Quite a change from your previous chastising... Hmm. I pledge loyalty to no one. But I will work with you until I find that girl... Who knows perhaps your servants will learn something from me." She grinned mockingly, she stood, swinging her hips in an alluring movement, catching the eyes of some of the older servants and guards. She caught her hair and wrung it out. Blood splattered to the floor.

"Now that we are working together, is there somewhere I can change? Not that I mind wearing the blood of victims, but it's bad for the complection." She smiled flirtatiously at Minus.

"What mission?" Magus called out from the newspaper room. Magus walked back into the main room and stood next to Shadow, "Why hello there... what might your name be?"

Shadow batted her eyelashes. "You can call me Shadow." She fought the earge to roll her eyes. This man was a pretty boy, and she was sure he was no where near powerful enough to woo her... But as those pathetic mentors had drilled into her. It is easier to catch flies with honey then vinegar... and once she caught them, she could do whatever she wanted.

"So what's your name?" She said in a voice that could only be described as that of a temptress. She flicked her hair behind her so that she could be viewed more clearly.

Shadow held out a dainty hand for the man to shake. She continued to smile flirtatiously.

After wandering about the old base for a while, Oliver finally stumbled across Jason. He looked upset. Oliver assumed that he had probably reacted negatively to his lack of specific orders or something like that. He walked up to his friend and nodded.

"Do you have a minute to talk, Jason?"

"Of course, what do you want to talk about?" Jason asked, turning to face Oliver.

Jason had been thinking about what he would be doing when they all got to BrightGrove, whether he followed Oliver's orders or if he went off on his own and tried to kill Minus while everyone was busy doing their jobs.

Dren looked from a shaded area nearby at the happenings, his hand on his sword. Cocky, self absorbed, anyone could take out those minions

"You may call me Magus," He shook her hand firmly making it clear that he wasn't being taken in. He breathed a brief incantation while he shook her hand, when he let go, green sparks started to fly out from Shadow's hand harmlessly, where the sparks touched they left a tingling sensation. Magus chuckled.

"A pleasure to meet you Shadow, tell me, do you believe in magic?"

Shadow considered Magus for a moment. 'Hmm, interesting, he does possess some power. Well, he doesn't seem arrogant like that brute over there...and he isn't taken in by my charm... Heh, I may enjoy it here after all...'

"Well then, Magus." She stood, her pretence gone. Instead replaced by genuine intrigue. "If magic is your forte, I believe we will have much to talk about." with that she allowed her eyes to go red for a split second. "Although you will have to do much to impress me." Instead of her usual mock, this was said in a playful tone.

"So what can you tell me about this arrogant leader of yours? Is he as collected as he portrays himself to be? Is he powerful?"

Alex does not want to join Oliver. I should stress that as much as humanly possible.

"You looked a bit upset as you were leaving." Oliver said to Jason. He recognized that Alex had asked him a question, but he ignored it to deal with more important matters, as he hoped Jason would as well.

"If you have a problem with the orders I've given, speak up. I'd rather have disagreement out in the open, if there's going to be any."

Understandable, but shoving yourself into other people's conversations isn't always the best thing to do. Not that I'm trying to insult you either, just saying that if you're going to talk with someone, wait for a moment when they're not doing something else.

"Minus is indeed powerful," Magus answered, "I am actually from twenty years in the past... he brought me and several others here... to this time... I haven't seen much of what he can do in combat however. And impress you? Hmm... Well, if you'll just hold on to me I can show you something that might get your attention." Magus prepared one of his choice 'spells'.

Shadow smirked. "Hold on to you?" she felt herself giggle. This man was amusing, but she did want to know his powers. If he ever betrayed her it could help to know how much of a fight he would put up.

Shadow stood, her confidence evident in her posture. She approached Magus, her hips swaying with each step. She reeked of confidence and femininity, something she knew all too well.

"Show me." She said, standing right before him.

Rachel flinched a little when Alex approached her and talked to her. "Oh, hi, sorry, didn't see you." She looked over at Ashe and Ana. Yeah... they're gonna be here a while... might as well talk while they get out. She turned to face Alex. "Anyway, I guess you're right. I should get to know the people I already don't." She studied Alex closely. Is that a girl or a boy? It would probably be rude to ask...
