Why didn't you catch a Pidgey? The Rockerfly said:I always hated Brock because I loved picking the fire type and it made fighting him and his gym members very difficult
Typhlosion loses to Steelix? That should be one of the easiest fights in the game if you have a good Fire type with a special attack. Steelix has obscene phys. defense, but its Special defense is barely worth mentioning.Portal Maniac said:![]()
Fuck you. Fuck you and your damned Steelix that rapes my Typhlosion every damned time I go through there, regardless of how many times I grind it to death.
You make Whitney, Clair, Giovvani, Wattson, and Flannery a pleasure to go up against.
It doesn't help that her bloody Magnemite either paralyze him, soften him up, or if they get a critical hit, kill it.John Funk said:Typhlosion loses to Steelix? Still. If your Cyndaquil is a Typhlosion, that means it's already at level 36, which means it knows Lava Plume - and given Typhlosion's above-average speed and pretty beastly Special Attack, it should be able to 1shot the Magnemites. It's true that if Steelix survives and hits it with an EQ it's probably sunk, but in that case all you do is switch to one of your other guys when she sends in Steelix, soften it up enough so that Typhlosion can come in and finish the fight in one blow.Portal Maniac said:It doesn't help that her bloody Magnemite either paralyze him, soften him up, or if they get a critical hit, kill it.John Funk said:Typhlosion loses to Steelix? And then if THAT fails, the attack will miss, Steelix will go first, or it'll endure the first hit and MURDER me with one of it's moves.
Plus, there's the second Magnemite that goes around after the Steelix. Which almost ALWAYS takes out whatever isn't already down for the count.
