No wonder they set some of the campaigns during the day, I wouldn't play this damn thing if THAT was stalking me in the dark.

Thats a good point actually. If I turned round in say, a dark alley, I'd actually shit myself if I saw that thing.

You'd think so, but pop over to the Steam forums for a bit and people are still bickering.

Truth is no one ever changes their opinion so this argument will keep going no matter which side gains more 'evidence' to use against the other side.

I'm beginng to think l4d2 is going to be a cartoon with all these weird new specials and uncommon commons. Adds variety but undermines the seriousness somewhat.

She looks truly terrifying, though her attack actually sounds pretty useful. Finally a corner killer that's not a Tank. But what does the Charger look like?

P.S-We have another female infected besides the witch! She looks like the Boomer's sister.

If I recall seeing it correctly the charger is this really big guy in overalls that does exactly what it sounds like.

Oh you will. And I'll hide in closets with her, and when the survivors get near and jump out at them. It's hilarious.

Better yet, don't attack. Just quietly sneak up on them and stand there, and wait until they turn around and find that just staring at them, filling the screen.

I think Left 4 Dead 2 is going to be a less serious game all round. Though, that may just be the first campaign, the parish. I think each one is getting more of a separate feel this time. The parish is slightly more jokey, with zombies wearing Hazmat suits, southener music mixed in with the left 4 dead theme, a crescendo event where you activate a festival float ect.

Swamp Fever looks like a darker, more serious affair. The uncommon infected for that area are pretty scary (mudmen, they walk on all fours) it's set at night and it looks a lot more scary.

That's what I think anyway. I wouldn't mind L4D2 being less serious, it became a pretty hilarious affair anyway with all your friends online, doesn't mean it isn't scary.

I really want the screamer too, but I'm not sure what it would do now. It was meant to be the Boomer before the Boomer, so they'd have to invent a new use for it.

I really want the screamer too, but I'm not sure what it would do now. It was meant to be the Boomer before the Boomer, so they'd have to invent a new use for it.

From my understanding, it legs it then the survivors have to hunt it down before it starts screaming it's head off
