this is set in Louisiana.... did you really have to ask that question..

and this is not what i envisioned when they first announced the spitter... i thought it was gonna be some old guy that you know uses chewing tabaco.. i may not be able to describe the look, but you know what i mean. this on the other hand, is infinetly more terrifing, and makes me want to startle the witch just to get away from it... at least the witch is a moderately hot chick that claws out you face (which is familiar to me as some of the women in my life have been known to actually do that to me...), while this is just the ugly sister you NEVER want to be around...

I guess the new infected being this strong balances out the new toys the survivors get. I wonder what the last new infected will be.

I'm not sure about this. Not only is the design absolutely fuckin HILARIOUS (seriously, I literally laughed out loudly seeing this), but I'm afraid it only makes the survivors camp in another corner. Sounds like a good idea, but if the level design isn't following this idea, the whole concept of this thing might be screwed.

Edit: The design of this monster might be hilarious, but that doesn't mean that this is a bad thing. The original L4D was a very funny game, too, so I think this is a good thing.
