Also, The Riddler? Surely, there are better villains left. I mean really? The Riddler? I can't express my distaste.
What other villains are there for a serious Batman movie? And your not very reasonable if you get so worked up over a selection of something that may turn out very good.
Harley Quinn? She could be getting revenge for joker?...just a thought

Don't get me wrong, I love the Bane character, anyone that takes the Bat outta commission for a while gets my respect, I just don't think Nolan would go that route.

I think Leo can pull off a good dark Riddler.
Honestly, though, I think as long as Nolan is still in charge, whoever gets chosen for any of the roles will be good.

I think TDK covered why Batman can't endanger himself/someone else by having a love interest, so I think Catwoman would be out.
That reminds me of this scene from the JL cartoon:

I think that cat can take care of herself for the most part.
Wonder Woman, for sure. Catwoman, not so much.

I always liked that pairing, I think it was that Wounder Women saw Batman as adorable which is funny but lets face it NO directer would take that sort of risk.

Nolan knows what he is doing. Too often I see fans (myself included) roll off enemies and actors because we think it's cool. That type of thinking reminds me of Schumacher films, lots of enemies and names...nothing else (y'know, story, characters, dialog, themes, atmosphere)

The first film had Liam Neeson as Ra's Al Ghul. Now who would have picked that actor and that villain? It worked because it fit in the story. The joker was an easy choice for second film (iconic villain) but Ledger had my friends in fits about some pretty boy being cast. They now all loved the decision.

My point? I don't care who he cast and for what roles, I'll go see this in its first week.

Please do not let anyone mentioned in this post be associated with this film, (barring Leo - but he's not who I'd cast as the riddler at all).

I dunno, I think Depp could be a decent Riddler. The rest of them would be atrocious, but I can see Depp pulling it off.

Did you actually watch the Underworld movies? She (along with everything else about them) was tragically bad.

I actually really enjoyed the first. The others, however, weren't that great. That's mostly due to the horrible scripts. You can only do so much with what you have.

I've liked her in every other movie I've seen her in(with the exception of Van Helsing. Once again, horrible script.).

A better candidate for Catwoman there may be, but I don't think she'd do a terrible job.

For the record, I like Catwoman, so it's not that I'm hating on her specifically. If the story is good, than by all means.

Last I heard, Kate Beckinsdale was still attached as Catwoman. Oh well, I mourn what could've been...

Against the kind of villains you'll see in Nolan's movies? I think she can.
Point taken, but is a jewel thief a necessity at this point? And does Batman need to play (no pun intended) Cat & Mouse with someone as part of the movie?
