I don't think many people in the normal gaming world know about the Locked-On Sonic games (Knuckles in Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles), which is a shame, since Sonic 3 & Knuckles is a fantastic game, my favourite in the franhchise. I'm not sure many people know that Sonic & Knuckles is actually regarded as one of the true originals, believing it to be a spin-off (hell, it took me years to learn that).

I'm not sure if this is big or not yet, but Minecraft is awesome. Just awesome. everyone i've talked to hasn't heard of it. A little preview of the Grafics is minxamo's Avatar, Just try it out, it's awesome, it's just too hard to explain it.

Call of Duty 4 was one of the biggest games of all time when it was released on Xbox 360, PS3, DS, and PC.
But is that all it was released on?
I'm talking about Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Reflex edition. On Wii. Still my favorite Wii game (Besides Super Mario Galaxy 2)It has tons of people still playing it online, and it's just awesome.

Same, I only rented it. Awesome though. I need to beat it and find the sequel.

Like others have said, I'm not quite sure if this is obscure enough for this thread, but I pick Elite Beat Agents.

It's a DS rhythm game, I can't figure out how to explain the way you play it. It's actually one of the more difficult rhythm games I've ever played, with some of the last songs on the hardest difficulty being borderline preposterous. It's really fun, though, and the storyline of each song is guaranteed to crack you up.

Bladestorm. I love it and still play it often. It's so long as well.
Something like a hundred days (or is it years?) of game time, isn't it?

I liked that game, or atleast the demo, heard from a friend that it gets boring fast though.

Savage 1/2 I don't often hear about, great games imo. As is Natural Selection.

Impossible Creatures
It's an RTS where you make the units in your army by mixing two animals together. So if you need a tank unit you combine a rhino and a lobster, or a stealth unit could be Rat/Hornet. We had an insane amount of fun with this game in lan parties, because everyone's armies were different, every time. Single player was... okay, most of the fun was in the multiplayer.

Played couple of times. Really good game indeed, I just wish I could play it some more, never got very far on it.

While we're on the topic, I played Tombi/Tomba 2 as a kid and actually completed it 100%. Really awesome game and just as overlooked as the first one

Rune Factory. Take harvest moon and add in monsters, combat, and Fantasy elements. Its made by the same people who made the original Harvest moon and is just as awesome as it sounds.

Right, do any of you know of King's Bounty? This was some of the most fun I've had playing a turn based strategy. It's just a fun romp through a mystical land. I loved it so much I even got the Armoured Princess sequel.

Second place to pretty much any space sim. Not all of them were good, but they're so rare nowadays that they're worth their weight in gold.

Landstalker for the Sega Genesis. I have only talked to one other person who has played it. Really, really good Zelda-style action-RPG with a 2.5D isometric view. The box art makes it look pretty generic, which couldn't have helped it commercially.

Speaking of Zelda, both Crystalis and Startropics are two Zelda-style NES games that hardly anyone mentions, and yet I liked them both better than the two NES Zelda games. Crystalis (which had an inferior Gameboy remake) did the whole post-apocalyptic setting before it became too cliche, and Startropics (which has a sequel that I never played) has one of the most unique settings that I have ever seen in a game.

Umjammer Lammy (a Parappa the Rapper spin-off) is another one I enjoyed a lot. Also, Ape Escape. Both for the PS1.

Psi Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy

It just has so many good mechanic ideas, and it's very good considering it's on the xbox original.

Shadows of Darkness for the PS2 was a great time traveling game that had you solving the mystery of your own death and did it damn well.

One of the best NES games ever was Maniac Mansion.
