Ninja Gaiden 2, Chapter 12 -
If no human has foot in Hell - based in Mt. Fuji I might add - before Hayabusa, why am I finding rotting ninja carcasses at every turn?

Fallout 3, with Bloody Mess perk -
How does a meager pistol bullet to the shoulder make a person explode into a pool of red and guts?

Left 4 Dead 2 -
A witch can die from a single shotgun blast to the face, but I unload 8 sniper rounds into her temple and she only looks at me and screams obscenities?

Oblivion -
Why is it that smacking a person with my sword or shooting someone with an arrow has the capacity to make them fly 15 feet in the air?

Mass Effect -
Have any of you actually sat down and analyzed some of the dialogue in this game? I love it to death, but some of the writing... oh man...

What I mean is, you never found yourself asking "how did Shepard infer that with only this much detail?"

Fallout3, I can't disguise myself by wearing appropriate clothing. I.E. Even full sets such as power armor that hide EVERYTHING. And quite honestly, in all the big and wide Raider encampments, you'd think that I'd have a chance of stealthy approach by quietly snuffing some dude, maybe even from an another camp, taking his armor, changing clothes, using some mud. And voila! A few cuss words into my vocabulary, they'd just think I'm a raider from an another group, wanting to join.
I mean, I'm not even asking to be full fledged in their workings. Just as an added layer of "protection" they won't attack me unless I get REALLY close, or talk to them.
Also, despite what was told on the F3 game box, the story is linear, just has a lot of side quests and branches. What if I don't want to chase after my dad? What if I want to join the raiders. Maybe I'm good with meds, you'd think there'd be people out there who'd want a doctor. I mean, I am forced into going after Nielson. What keeps us going are quests, basically. Would it really be hard to create a quest generator, A-LA Face of Mankind? You have a set of objectives, completing a certain number of those will generate a new list, and the game keeps on going and going. Your daddy becoming a vague memory, a shadow in the past. That's be nice, if you ask me. Doing the main quest would have perks attached, like faster leveling, better loot, story, etc, but where's the replayability in that?
There's a couple of good mods, one that assigns faction behvaiour to costumes, raider outfits cause raiders to ignore you, but guards will attack you. The same with enclave armour. There's also roleplaying mods that give your character a more specific/unique origin like being a ghoul or an enclave deserter.

Why isnt Duke Nukem Forever out yet.

I don't think that question will ever be answered.
They shut down the project, didn't they?
I think they did...
Never the less i stil lwanna play the damned game.

O.T. Why in just about every singe RPG can your charactor carry a total of 2 tons of ammour and weapons even though the charactor model makes him look like a twig.

And also, how can your charactor carry said 2 tons and then the second you a feather falls on his head his knees collapse and he all of a sudden walks as fast as an old fart.

Eating a hamburger in Saint's row 2 can revive bullet wounds.... that one still bugs me.

Also, Halo 3 ODST. I am too weak to dual wield weapons, but with that in mind I will still wield this giant hammer like mighty Thor, I loved the game but that is still one hell of an inconsistancy.

The entire License Grid system in FFXII.

VGCats sums it up pretty well:

lololol i laughed so hard at that, was thinking the exact same thing first time i played that game...but then i did the infinite zombie gambit glitch, and it was all good =]

hopefully grinding does not require 120 hours of zombie infinite killing this time around, othrwise that might just blow ass on ffXIII

I'll put this in the form of an equation:
5.56x45 NATO going over 700 miles per hour + generic terrorists face = dead/very unhappy terrorist, not terrorist that is able to limp away.
Someone needs to tell Tom Clancy how the human body reacts to guns.

lol completely agree, especially on mass effect, i would choose options and be like "uh...holy shit wtf, how did that come out like that.." so that game was a little goofy in the writing, but otherwise bioware is golden

oblivion i love the game, but good lord the whole damage thing didn't make sense sometimes

I think GTA 4 is a logical failure, it is essentially a linear game with little choice, yet a sandbox has been left there with a few people sitting around waiting for your main character to come talk to them and for you to drive around not-interacting with, besides attacking people who've done nothing to you and pissing off the cops.

It's all well and good having a sandbox, but what's the point in wasting your time making one if you're just not going to put anything but fluff in it?

In every single RPG, where you meet a boss 60 times your size. Your character(s) defeat it by standing in a circle and chopping at its toes (Not getting kicked away or simply stepped on) and go on until its healthbar runs down. Also, said boss sometimes EVADES the attacks or better yet, blocks them... With his toenails...

The whole theory about the reapers and protheans is the best example (before the Spectre inductee ceremony). The image in Shepard's head being as scrambled as it is, there's very little justification that any of his/her words hold any truth.

How could Shepard tell those were the protheans being slaughtered? How does he/she know that it was the reapers doing the slaughtering? How does he/she know that the reapers and protheans are connected at all?

Get what I'm saying?

Getting a arrow between the eyes in Oblivion doesn't kill you.

It only takes about 1% of your health...
Things like this are one of the many reasons I dislike Oblivion. My character once had about a dozen arrows sticking out of his torso, and he had almost full health. That game has terrible immersion.

I inferred that he was able to see it as much as he wanted, and pause it. Like a movie. There must have been one good spot in there.

Well to me logic is an acceptable sacrifice in gaming if I'm able to fight space Nazi clowns on the zombie planet Trog with a chainsaw that shoots caterpillars. But if there ever was something in a game which bugged me it would have to be the fact that in Fallout 3 and all other Fallout games (Actually scrap the other two because for all you know both the Vault dweller and the tribesman were always either leaving the vault or the village to play with weapons) despite living in a vault your entire life only ever mucking around with a little BB rifle and having a small amount of XP (Which in this case isn't all that relevant) you somehow know how to perfectly hold, reload and fire all guns in the game...even alien weaponry. At least in most games they have the decency to either tell you that your character has had experience with weaponry (And the selection is limited) or they haven't and through that they can barely hold their own with a weapon.

Perhaps. At first glance though, you're kinda like "what the hell?" Or, I was after sitting down on it for some 20 odd playthroughs.
