pro-war???? noone is pro war.....we need to finish what we started or we look week and when it gets tough and expensive we back down and quit.....the very definition of america is quitters.....nope dont see it...and obama is pro war too by your definitions too....
My definitions? When did I define anything? And you didn't answer my question, either. For an answer to your question ("pro-war????"), look up the video of McCain singing "Bomb Bomb Iran" and ask me again who's pro-war...

And it seems like we've needed to "finish what we started" for something like five and a half years now. When exactly are we going to get around to doing that, pray tell?

And one final question: what makes a country look more weak?
A. Backing out of a war you can't win.
B. Having a military stretched so thin from said war that the nation can't defend itself should it need to.

I love how everybody says "If Barack Obama were white, this election would be over..."

I agree. He'd be watching Hilary run against McCain from the sidelines.

I go partially because of reasons I have already previously listed, and for this one:

-One Obama-ite proudly proclaimed that "we had lost more soldiers in Iraq than in World War II." (NO, REALLY)

I simply googled statistics from the Iraq war, and combined them with one day of fighting WWII:

As of February of last year-
Iraq war claimed appox. 5000 American lives...
D-DAY claimed appox. 5500 confirmed American (and thousands that were crab food)...

I must cancel out that poor bastard's vote AT ALL COSTS!!!

Yeah idiot's are going to be in both camps, whether they are uninformed and make statements to make them sound more intelligent than they actually are or on the other extreme we have people plotting to kill Obama, or yell statements such as "kill him", "he is a terroist/muslim". Either way both political parties take their political party too seriously and choose to stay uninformed rather than doing their research.

If there was a true religion in the United States I'd say it would be the political parties over the actual church because even agnostic or athiests will get involved. Of course we also have the passivists AKA the non-voters :p (the people who CAN vote but choose not too)
I just worry that the actions of idiots on all sides: 1) are not helping their candidate, and #2) do not manage to keep both sides of the party line from working together after the election has been concluded.

By the way: news update---Pennsylvania judge does mandate Barack Obama has to show birth certificate to run for president. What a colossal fuckup that would be if Obama wins the election only to go before Supreme Court afterward.

Where is the love for Mccain as mediocre as he is he's still good and better then Obama. He is from Chicago. Chicago means corrupt.
Life is not like the movies, Chicago does not mean corruption like it does in the movies.

The opposite of pro-life is pro-choice, and there's a reason it's called that. It means we support a woman's choice not to have a child if they don't want to. Hell, we already have a world overpopulation problem and we certainly don't need the millions more kids outlawing abortion is sure to bring.

As for the 'nobody will want to work' section, err, have you been to Europe before? We tax high earners pretty heavily, yet we still have a healthy majority of people wanting to work extremely hard and achieve high incomes.

If you put a tax on people with income of 250k+ a year then no one will want to work and you can't expand the company. Plus poverty will continue to rise because no one wants to work because the government will take their money. There's no such thing as free healthcare because the tax payers pay for it. On my final note about how bad Obama is he is pro-choice.

Now McCain on the other hand is pro-life. You can't start a war to end when it gets expensive. Yes the war should've ended a many years ago but no one wanted to get their hands dirty. Lowering taxes creates jobs and you have more money to expand the company. People are always complaining no woman is in the government. Well now Palin is the vice-president candidate and she is a woman and not exposed to corruption. She is pro-life and a good pick overall. Sure I was hoping for maybe Romney or Huckabee but what the heck I like Palin just as well.

I'm curious why would you vote for who. Please no he's better then the other really get into the issues on why. I searched for a thread like this but found none so sorry if its a repeat.

as for me I'm for McCain. His views on energy are good. Drill offshore. I also like how the government would buy bad mortgages and work out a payment plan for people to easily pay them.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Ahahahaha....ahaha...

AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAA...

AHA..AHA..haha...

Heh heh.. WAHAHAHAHHAHAHAA.

No. Just...just no.
i count this as flaming so explain yourself or get rid of it...

Are you kidding? She remodeled her office seven times and spent lots of government funds on it. She also was taking flak from environmentalists about her oil drilling, so she spent lots of government funds on a public park that nobody asked for. She also supports censorship, how is this not corruption?

Who are these people who would rather have no money then make 250,000 a year minus some tax?
Because I want their money.

Every election tons of people run on the "outsider" platform, but it's pure crap.

Where do you think all the "corruption" in Washington comes from? It's shipped here from big cities and small towns all across the country(*).

* - How come nobody ever talks about the small cities and big towns? The US has those, too. :p
