If you put a tax on people with income of 250k+ a year then no one will want to work and you can't expand the company. (You don't just decide to not work. People have things like bills. And families.And food. All of which require them to work and make money. If anything, they'd have to work harder to make that money back)
Plus poverty will continue to rise because no one wants to work because the government will take their money.(That is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. How is raising taxes on the top 5% by 4 to 5% going to grind the american economy to a halt? Especially when 95% of middle class families would get a cut) There's no such thing as free healthcare because the tax payers pay for it. ( That's not even an opinion, it's just a statement. No Candidate has said they'd give out free healthcare)
On my final note about how bad Obama is he is pro-choice. ( Oh No! He has a different opinion than you! that's how bad he is? Gee, I wonder why the masses don't rally around you and your space-brain)

Now McCain on the other hand is pro-life.( Really? The opposing candidates have different veiws?)
You can't start a war to end when it gets expensive. (What are you trying to say? oh, and fuck those people who are dying in the war, it's that spending we need to worry about!) Yes the war should've ended a many years ago but no one wanted to get their hands dirty. Lowering taxes creates jobs and you have more money to expand the company.

People are always complaining no woman is in the government. Well now Palin is the vice-president candidate and she is a woman and not exposed to corruption. She is pro-life and a good pick overall. (She presided over one of the biggest pork barrel bills ever, supports the succesionist party, spends 150,000 in two months on clothing, left her town 20 millions dollars in debt, and is borderline retarded) Sure I was hoping for maybe Romney or Huckabee but what the heck I like Palin just as well.

I'm curious why would you vote for who. Please no he's better then the other really get into the issues on why. They have completely opposing ideas. Oh, but they aren't better than the other. as for me I'm for McCain. His views on energy are good. Drill offshore. I also like how the government would buy bad mortgages and work out a payment plan for people to easily pay them. So your for small government, but you have no problem letting the government buy houses at full price, and refinancing them for less than that?

That would put people who make more than $250K a year at a pre-2001 tax bracket. Just to let you know, the time Clinton was in office was the best economic boom America has had for decades. Being at a higher tax bracket certainly did not hamper people from making lots of cash.

we should be concentrating on other, more long term environmentally friendly options, like electricity, hydrogen, etc (NOT bio fuels btw thats still environmentally hazardous and raises food prices)

Canada has a scaled tax system whereby the more money you make the greater % of taxes you pay. Its kind of unfair but at the same time it kind of works. It hasn't killed our economy yet so I don't know why it would kill yours.

Median income for an American family is a lot closer to $50k/yr. than $250k/yr.

I live in one of the highest-income counties of the US, an area stuffed with well-educated workers and random millionaires, and median household income is around $90k-100k/yr.

In many areas of America, $250k will buy you a nice house -- no mortgage, just instant house.

Also, Obama's definitely not doubling income taxes -- how did you come up with that number? Now, the wealthy are also affected by other taxes, such as inheritance tax or capital gains tax, and I expect both of those to rise, but those are also taxes on money that, by definition, isn't the direct result of labor.
