When I was at university I actually had an idea for a fire extinguisher grenade. It would be filled with a certain type of powder which would suck all of the oxygen out of the air. After the grenade is chucked at a fire, a charge would blow the grenade open and spread the powder far and wide. The advantage would be that you could fling it into a room or at a fire without approaching the fire (as you do with an extinguisher), and also it would have the advantage of being a lot lighter and easier to store, so you could have a whole rack of the things.

Thats a little flawed don't you think? If one nade goes west the next one will have one going east and that would carry on happening so after a few hundred years the entire earths surface would be exploding everything 30 seconds, with explosions 1 meter apart. I think there should be a limit on how many can come from it.JinxyKatte said:

Hmmm... I'm going to go with the "Aphrodisiac Grenade"... pull the pin, throw it at your enemies, and they will suddenly have the irresistible urge to... get busy. Hmm... just imagining how this could be implemented in a game... hmm...
The Heisenberg Grenade. No one is really certain where it will explode, or when, or with how much force.
The Other Python Grenade. Lands near the enemy and opens up, beginning to play a recorded rendition of "The Liberty Bell March." Upon completion of the song, a gigantic bare foot appears out of the sky and squishes everything under it into paste with a loud "SPLURT" sound.
The Blob Grenade. Contains a miniscule portion of The Blob (the gelatinous monster from the movies, not the Marvel Comics mutant) suspended in a magnetic field to prevent its early escape...when landing, the grenade opens up and lets the creature out, whereupon it starts consuming everything around it.
The Falcon Grenade, which hits all of its surrounding targets simultaneously with Falcon Punches.
The Papercut Grenade. When it explodes, millions of tiny shards of paper go shooting out in all directions, giving its targets several thousand papercuts simultaneously. Very sadistic weapon, to say the least.

I think I would settle for something fairly mundane, and gor for either the Flaming Thermite Grenade of Doom, or something involving White Phosphorous.
Though a Zero-Point Singularity (Black Hole) Grenade could be fun.

A literanade. If you blow it up on top of say, any one of the Twilight Series books(cheap, fashionable shot, I know), it will blow it up and anything else written by the decidedly shitty author.

i played a halo CE mod where the plasma grenade explosion took up over half of the level and when it blew up it looked like a glowing dome and blew you to kingdom come. (it was so beatiful T-T) the only sad part was that if you threw the grenade unless you were nere a telepoter there was no way in hell you would get away from ground zero b4 the explosion. it was so awesome
