Male Nerd Chicks?

I was thinking about this yesterday evening, and it occurred to my sleepy semi-drunk mind that if there exists a group or type of girls who, though nerdy, have an attraction that one would not immediately expect, then surly there should be a version in the male population, a reclusive breed of men who possess an extra attraction?

I'm not sure exactly how much that makes sense, but I'm still sleepy, so does anyone want to consider this for me?

Edit: Now I'm more awake, I'm going to add something for further discussion:

Men: Are you a nerd? Are you considered attractive? Do you believe in the idea of male nerd chicks?
Women: Do you find any nerds/gamers attractive?

Well, there are women who like nerdy men, to put it in another way. Remember, in the modern age, there's a lot of potential in being nerdy. Nerds are the best money-makers - just look at Silicon Valley. So, it may be that the old attraction to physical strength in men will shift with these times in women. Give it two to four hundred years.

I'm sorry, but I have no bloody idea what you're talking about.
I have a strange attraction to cute chicks with glasses, but that's probably not what you're asking...

I like intelligent girls, and I think glasses are cute. Some might called them nerdy, I don't know and, quite frankly, I don't care. I'm sure they're better company than... the other types.

Also, I'm not a fan of labels.

I understand what you are saying. But it does not exist in anyway shape or form. There are many dorks like me that want to believe Megan Fox when she says she is a comic book nerd and is just looking for a regular guy to spend special time with.

It is a lie. Megan Fox and her "type" are very much aware of what she is owed and can get by the grace of being born attractive and female. There is nothing anybody can do about it. It is not a "fetish" thing. The "fetish" thing is just a marketing gimmick. I promise I can talk to her about Wolverine all day and say I like her tatoos, but till I buy that fancy dinner at Red Lobster, I might as well theoroetically be talking about genetics giving superpowers to common folk with her. I will get not play till I pay for it, as she wonders if I will buy her jewlery at some place other than Walmart.

Sure there are attractive nerd guys. There's something very sexy about a guy who knows what he's doing. I mean, when you look at the generally cantankerous, indecisive and insecure nerd population, that's not sexy. But a guy who really knows what he's doing (with just about anything. Computers, games, knitting...) and is confident in his ability is pretty damn sexy.

That's about the only traditional nerd trait that strikes me as being able to extrapolate into sexy. Smarts is similar, but also extremely good.

I'm nerdy and I don't have too much of a problem with girls, my main problem is working out which ones not to sleep with. There's a difference between "knows his way around a computer and can have a conversation about the dynamics of roleplaying within MMORPGs" type of nerdy and "has poor personal hygeine, no charisma and a complete lack of social skills" nerdy. Like many things in life, it's all about striking the right balance.

You mean like...nerdy guys who don't look like the stereotypical nerd and are quite attractive? Well not to boast, but I think I do belong, even slightly, to that group. I take care of my looks, make sure my clothes at least match a bit and fit me properly. I do wear glasses though, they look good on me, I can't imagine myself without them.

I try not to be that uber-shy, insecure type of guy, I can chat up with new people quite easily and I try to look confident. Maybe I'm often not, but I try to at least look like it, and I'm working on actually béing more confident.

I'm the same, except I don;t think I qualify for nerd status. Though I use these forums, and play on my xbox, I don't really fit the stereotype.

Do not agree.

Errr, do I like nerdy girls? Yeah, love them, someone I can connect with, even as a friend, it's all cool to me.

Do girls like nerdy guys? Depends on the girls taste, some girl may find playing video games and trying at school cute, or enjoyable (to play video games with them, I mean) and so girls may find it gross, or get annoyed they might like to stay inside more.

It's really taste, looks, personality and habitats are all based on what the person wants, you can't just ask someone if they like someone on habitats.
