I run into the bathroom and quickly bash my head in the wall repeatedly, respawning on top of my corpse and walking out, now with arms.

I open my eyes as I realize Salt telepathically hung up on me, "That asshole." I mumble to myself. I see Kasey in front of me, crossing her arms expectantly, "Oh, shut up. There's no way bleach and ammonia makes mustard gas."

"Unc', I know what I'm talking about."

"Bah! We're taking this to Wikipedia!"

Back to the restaurant
"Oh, it's cool. I understand. Uh," She looks awkwardly at Salt's arms, "Care to tell me how you lost them. I mean, if it doesn't bring up any bad memories."

 

[Saltarius]

"Oh, I removed them on purpose. Augmentation. Like uh...you ever played Deus Ex? Like that."

 

[Knife-28]

The waiter (Again, obviously not Knife) walks back to the restaurant's kitchen, where he watches Salt and Diamond from the round little window thingys in the door.

"Oh. Okay."

"Sooo...what're your interests, Diamond?"

"I'm a bit of a book worm." She says with a little blush, "Marquise de Sade is one of my favorite writers."

 

[Saltarius]

"Ah, yes, de Sade. So eloquent with a quill, eh? I have to go more contemporary and say Ge-Hideo Kojima."

A ball of electricity forms in front of us. A future me and a future Trilby pop out of it.

The other Trilby shrugs, then looks at Knife.

"Well, I'd say it's..." I pull back the sleeve of my overcoat, revealing my bare arm. "A hair past a freckle."

I respawn inside Diamond, splattering her all over the restaurant.
"Wait this isn't the Bathhouse" I down fifteen pints of cyanide and die painfully.
I respawn in the tunnel with the others.
"Hai guys. Hai future-guys."

"That doesn't really tell us anything, but I'm going to assume it's the right time. Hello, Sigma."

I pick up my torch from the ground.
"The Guildhalls this way guys. Oh and future people you know about the Trees right."
