[Paddy the Second]

 

[Saltarius]

I smack Paddy and start climbing the stairs.

 

[Paddy the Second]

"Yeah whatever. I'll respawn next to you when you get up there." I lie on the floor.

 

[Saltarius]

I get up there.

"WELL!?"

 

[Paddy the Second]

My voice comes crackling over the walkie talkie. "Gimme a minute." Salt hears a gunshot through the walkie talkie, then the actual gunshot reaches him.

 

[Knife-28]

"Hey Salt, I maybe should of mentioned this on the walk up, but what are we going to do about these guys." Knife says, holding up an armful of grubs.

 

[Saltarius]

"...Find a good lusus?"

 

[Knife-28]

"Oh, glad you cleared that up." Knife says, handing the grubs to a passing lusus. "Ok, we ready?"

 

[Saltarius]

"Yes."

I walk through the suspicously open doors of Negacorp.

"I'm here."

"Good. Take the elevator to the basement."

 

[Knife-28]

"Oh, this obviously isn't a trap at all." Knife says, following Salt into the elevator.

 

[Saltarius]

"You think I don't know that? Still, it's there turf. We play by their rules."

I pull out my revolver and spin the barrel, checking it's loaded.

"Course, we get to cheat a little."

Suddenly, the elevator begins plummeting.

"BASTARD MUST'VE CUT THE ROPE! HOLD ON!"

The elevator crashes down as we emerge battered and bloody. In the corner, I can vaguely see a bound figure, with Nega Salt standing over it.

"Shall we, then?"

 

[RaNDM G]

It appears you are fucked.

Would you like some assistance?

 

[Knife-28]

"Salt, you check on Aradia, I'l deal with this douchbag." Knife says, before stepping forward and drawing his two tanto. "How about a little warm up, eh Nega Salt."

 

[Saltarius]

Yes, mysterious narrating voice. I would.

"R...Right." I say, coughing up a little of my own blood.

I run past Nega Salt, too busy engaging Knife.

"Wait...this isn't Aradia. This is Nega Paddy!"

 

[RaNDM G]

The elevator repairs itself. You quickly get the fuck out of Dodge.

You ascend to the Highest Point of the Mall.

The view isn't as scenic as you imagined. Plenty of billboard advertisements to go around. One in particular grabs your attention.

Uh...

 

[Saltarius]

"Alright, where the hell is my wife you bastards?"

 

[Knife-28]

Knife watches as Salt absconds in the elevator. "Huh, well then." He says, turning to Nega Salt, "What now?"

 

[Saltarius]

"You die, obviously."

An ultrasound wave knocks Knife back as Nega Salt draws For The Motherland.

 

[RaNDM G]

You find yourself shouting to no one in particular. The rooftops are empty.

On the floor is a box. Attached to it is a small touchscreen. You pick up the box and take a closer look. There is a message on the screen.

[color=crimson]"Three clues. Three tries."[/color]
