I completely agree. After all, the cop ignored him the first two times, but that jerk was obviously looking for a reaction. He completely deserved the tickets; if he's allowed to abuse his right to freedom of speech, then the cop should be able to abuse his power of giving tickets to assholes.

I have said before that stupid lawsuits piss me off to no end and well now, im pissed of to no end. Using his logic I should go to a Black Pride rally and start yelling racial slurs. Its my freedom of speech, so why not? The court should really see this as an unprovoked "attack" against officers and force him to pay the tickets.

if oregon is anything like virginia then he wont. here its legal for cops to ticket and even arrest if people do anything overly aggressive while driving, including giving the finger to anyone.

Wow, its obvious he wanted this to happen, he would have continued flipping cops off until one did eventually do something about it so that this case could go through. I don't know whether to call him a smart bastard or an all around dumbass, you know what, neither...hes a overgrown child who wants some free lunch money and looking to get the attention of his classmates. If he wins this case then this country has gone passed the level of "shit".
