Isn't that antagonizing an officer? Plus it's attracting unneeded attention to himself, he deserves that ticket.

It's assholes like this that waste police time when they could be working on keeping people safe.

Wow, what a prick. If he doesn't like the system, then why doesn't he propose a better one?

Being a total duschebag isn't covered under free speech.

Eh, don't care. It's just some guy being a radical douche to Police that probably overreacted.

I was agreeing up to the point were he wanted money, it sort of invalidates his principles somewhat.

You know, if he tried taking this to court where I live, the judge would most likely order a drug test to determine whether the guy was high or just off his rocker.

This guy was obviously just trolling for someone to give him a ticket, so he could subsequently sue over it. Who flips a cop off ONCE, much less three times if they aren't intentionally looking for trouble?

He's lucky he did this to a well-balanced cop, rather than one who would have pulled him out of his car and beat his ass for it (good ole boys in my home town probably would have.)

I agree the guy is garbage, but he deserves to win his suit. Hand gestures are covered under the first amendment. Flipping off a police officer is not a crime. Legally, he should not have gotten those tickets.

Oh, and I guarantee you the cop gave him tickets for things the guy was already doing (speeding, following too closely etc.) the guy just brought himself to the cop's attention by annoying the shit out of him. If this guy was going even 2 mph over the speed limit the officer was well in his rights to give him a ticket for it.

I hope most of you bootlickers aren't from the US. If you are I weep for our nation. For those of you properly indoctrinated by your public eduction please watch this instructional video: Don't Talk To Cops [link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8z7NC5sgik[/link]

The proper thing for the cop to do would be to laugh and keep looking out for real criminals. Not get his panties in a bunch and use the law to punish someone who did something that the cop didn't like. To contrast this is a good cop [link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9yIBOnbJjY[/link]. Notice he wasn't getting aggressive or intimidating, he was polite and he explained exactly the reasons why he was giving instructions.

That guy is an idiot but I agree with him on the whole challenging authority shnazz. Although that is probably because I hate the system and it's institutions. He still shouldn't have given the finger that many times though, that's just plain retarded.

Really, I have a hard time understanding how people can defend the two tickets. This isn't a police state; people don't have to comply with every whim of authority.
Because he's obviously a dick and a massive tool and we just want to see him get it, regardless of what the actual reason is?

Have you ever personally known any police officers? Well, I have, and let me tell you they get no respect from your average person on the street. Police officers are people too, and that disrespect they deal with every day grates on them just like it would you. This moron deserved the tickets he received.
