ME2 has been out for a few days and you're already focusing on their next line up?

Ah well...

Bringing back that holy assassin would be nice.
I'd like to second this statement. ME2 must not be much of a game if it's core demographic wants the third one out already. Unfortunate, because it would seem the dev team spent a long time listening to their gaming audience about what to improve from ME1.
Mission failed.

Well, it's a matter of opinion really.
The online consensus suggests that a "meme" constitutes a postulated unit of social and cultural phenomenon.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one quite fiercely, in principle and based on practice.

Snip

Second, in practice, I think DA:O suffered from the party based system because it disconnected you from the main character. On my first playthrough, I had to micromanage Morrigan and Wynne a lot more than my main character (a warrior) and thus I came to be more connected to those two than my Cousland. This was compounded by the fact that the main character isn't voiced, meaning you don't have an aural link that ties in with their personality. Because I was manually controlling my mages so often, they were often the effective 'leader' of my party and this came to undermine the special role your own creation is supposed to have.
Exactly. Not only that, but the first time I played through as a mage, after I realized I could control whoever I wanted, I thought, well I don't need to play through as a human warrior, I can just control Alistair to find out what that class is like. I pretty much explored less of the classes because of that, which should be one of the various driving points for getting you to play the game more than once.

Also, get rid of those unnecessary part members. Honestly, who in gods name used the doctor?
*slowly raises hand*

His powers are kick ass, you just gotta try and keep him out of harms way. And I find him one of the most interesting squad members to be honest, far more so than Jacob or Jack especially.

He also imparts wisdom upon human/turian sexual relations. Which makes him pretty awesome.

Nobody. But Jesus, he was awesome to talk to. I don't think anybody even thought about taking him on the field. He was like Joker for me: Never left the ship, but still a worthy character who must be spoken with at every given interval.
Agreed, but I don't get why they made him a party member. They should just have had people like him stay on the ship.

I'd feel like a dick if I took him to the fights.
Guys, Mordin is lethal in combat!

He was very useful on Insanity difficulty because his Incinerate power is probably the most useful in the game after Squad Incendiary ammo due to the high levels of armour most enemies have.

I ended up taking Grunt out instead of him in the end, but he was a damn sight more useful than any of the others, except Garrus and Miranda!
Agreed! Just cos hes a doddery old salarian, doesnt mean he cant rip peoples minds apart, freeze them or blow them up in a ball of fire!

I love how he sometimes says "And you though I was harmless!" after he casts a power. Kinda proves my point. You dont realize how kick-ass he is until you see him turning Collecters into ash, or freezing a bunch of Mercs :p

Return the open world exploring, only do it with the shuttle rather than the Mako.
Bring back Wrex as a member of your team.
Add either a multiplayer or co-op mode where player 1 plays as Shepard and the other two gets played by your friends.

Or better yet make a sort of like MMORPG option, that would probably be a good MMO. Have that you decide what race you want like Turian, Geth, Krogen, pick a class like Infiltrator and have a massive galaxy you can explore with a starship with your mates. I think it could work.

1. Please bring it out before my third Xbox dies on me. It was a pain to get the Best Buy guys to let me keep my hard drive the last time and my saves got kind of screwy when I put the thing in the new Xbox. I swear, this is the last time I am playing a continuous series on a system so unstable.
2.The second playthrough should not require scanning at all. I understand you made this cute mini game and you must have liked it. But if I am bothering to play through your game again I want every upgrade there is to get. I do not want to have to scan for fourteen hours to get them. 50k resources does not cut it. >:<
3.More of the trigger Renegade/Paragon stuff. That was really fun.
4.More opportunities to make money. Resources I could get by scanning like mad. Money was harder to come by. I don't care if you add stupid fetching quests to do this, I would do it.
5.Did I mention I want it released soon?

For God's sakes, fix the damn planet scanning! It's too long and boring...
Also:
An even bigger Normandy.
Planet exploration, only with a more interesting environment and a vehicle with better handling than the Mako.
Surprisingly, I kinda miss the elevators. They were a better alternative to loading screens.
New species of alien for party members! (i.e. batarian, vorcha, etc...)

You said it my brother.

And let me play with both Wrex AND Grunt.

Though, it makes sense that members of your squad would separate from you. The surprising thing to me is, that aside from Wrex, most of the members we run into have not become people of consequence. I'd expect that they would have been heroes or some such...

I just want someone in the galaxy other than the Normandy crew to give a shit that the end is nigh.

I really want to be able to control a space battle. You know there's got to be a big one coming, how cool would it be to take part in it? Shepard is his own fighter taking out Oculi and going after the weak spot in the reaper with his MacGuffin weapon. I'm a sucker for that.

The Dark Energy is strong in this one.

HUMAN, YOU'VE CHANGED NOTHING

OT:

1. A female turian squadmember! This would actually accomplish multiple goals; firstly, it'd finally put a female turian into the game, seeing as we've never seen one before, and secondly, it'd give us a chance to learn a lot about what it's like to be a female turian in the Turian Hierarchy. And make her a LI too, because, why not? Heck, it might even be feasible for her to become romantically involved with Garrus should you choose not to romance her- and that would be just adorable.

2. The return of Brodin Mordin, Legion, Garrus, and Tali. Becauase those four were incredibly good characters and they deserve to come back. And possibly Liara as an optional squadmember.

3. A more balanced Insanity mode. Insanity in ME 1 might have been a little too easy, seeing as you could easily power your way through it with a high-level character, but Insanity in MR 2 was a bit too hard. What about, say, giving your Shepard bonuses that add up depending on how many times you've beaten the game? That would allow the devs to leave the difficulty the way it is, but provide players who are determined and need the achievement(s) with a way to make Insanity not so insane.

4. More upgrades for the ship, especially 'Ship Enhancement' upgrades. And possibly give us the chance to use the Normandy in combat, but only if the control scheme wouldn't be wonky.

5. Fix a few minor glitches in ME's code so teammates can't get stuck on things or glitch up, because that's not something you want to happen on Insanity mode.

6. A better story than ME 2. ME 2's story was quite satisfactory, but for some reason it just didn't live up to ME 1's story. I know the devs were busy adding in all those new teammates and perfecting the combat and such, but now that's done, I'd really love to see a higher emphasis on story in ME 3.

Would a ps3 release be too much to ask about?
I hate exclusives man, we should give you guys Mass Effect and you guys should give us God of War 3.
Yeah, exclusives suck. Even is Me and Me2 wore Pc and 360 releases it still feels like a middle finger pointed at the general direction of ps3 gamers.
It's either buy a monster pc for 1400$ or a 360 and give up LittleBig planet and Killzone 2
If you ever ever get a chance toplay ME2 on any platform... do it. You won't regret it.

Even rent a 360 for a week or something, I'm considering doing that when GOW3 comes out.

1. A hanar/elcor on your squad. It will never happen but we can dream.
2. The continued use of heat sinks. The recharging weapons were just stupid.
3. The use of Legion and Garrus as squad members
4. Some influence from the Rachni if you let the queen live.
5. An all-out war between the geth and the quarians with abilities to influence or even stop/prevent it
6. The painful death of Harbringer. This hurts him.
7. More expansive planetary exploration.
8. Vehicles (the hammerhead is taking a while, imo)
9. A cure for the genophage
10. The death of the council. Again.

And of course a release date for the actual game would be nice. Also some expansive DLC's for ME2 would be nice. Zaeed and Zoryar were interesting but it was just one mission. Hopefully the Hammerhead will at least add some side missions or parts to main missions that make things more interesting.

Well female krogan are hidden because, well you know, it's hard for them to make babies because of those turian bastards.

Female Turians look...just like males from what I understand

Drell are too rare, they probably wouldn't make a model for the females

There are female hanar ingame...we just don't know it yet.

No one wants to see a female vorcha. Enough said. Besides they probably reproduce by, budding or something.
