AMEN, i wanna see a new character. He'd be a young Shepard because the Illusive Man cloned him in case the Lazarus Project failed or Shepard died again. Sort of an insurance policy for the galaxy. What do u think?

EDIT: Wait if this cloned Shepard became a party member and was of opposite gender and was a LI that would be badass because I'd be romancing.......MYSELF *UNIVERSE IMPLODES*

1. The Illusive Man is the head of an organization bordering on a full blown military, plus he faked a turian distress signal. He kept so many other secrets from Shepard, why wouldn't he clone Shepard as Plan B and not tell him.

2.Shepard clone would be almost identical except for persona

3.If he can fund a project to bring a man back to life why not clone him?

4.EWWW, wat the hell is wrong with you!? Young Shepard would be like 15 and be whatever gender Shepard is man! Are u trying to say you would have sex with a 15-year old clone of yourself in the game?!

The only point of a clone story wise would be for the peoples whos Shepards died at the end of ME2....which would just be Bioware taking the easy way out.

I hate exclusives man, we should give you guys Mass Effect and you guys should give us God of War 3.

Yeah, exclusives suck. Even is Me and Me2 wore Pc and 360 releases it still feels like a middle finger pointed at the general direction of ps3 gamers.
It's either buy a monster pc for 1400$ or a 360 and give up LittleBig planet and Killzone 2

If you ever ever get a chance toplay ME2 on any platform... do it. You won't regret it.

Even rent a 360 for a week or something, I'm considering doing that when GOW3 comes out.

I second the Normandy Bar btw, There should be more moments and conversations between the non essential crew! I simply loved the banter between the crew members eating lunch and the cook. However no one was as cool as the two engineers who I played cards with......

1. Making the Mako optional for more variety in exploration. I personally loved the bouncy little supertank, so...

2. Conclusion to the Liara plotline. This one is kind of obvious that they're laying it up for what with Liara being the only ME1 party member who can't get killed off, I guess. 'course I want to see what I get for staying faithful to her all through ME2 too.

3. More non-gender-specific romances. Especially Tali and Garrus feel a bit like they could go either way.

4. More weapon options. Not just a bunch of guns with various tradeoff stats, but making the choice between a heavy sniper rifle (the "bolt action"-type) and the less-damaging, rapid fire "anti shield" type an actual choice you can make and change, rather than making them upgrades going in consecutive order. Same for the burst and auto-fire SMGs and Assault Rifles...

5. More "flavour" conversation with your party members. ME1 had plenty compared to ME2 where, unless you'd just done a loyalty mission/picked romance options, they'd run out of things to say pretty quickly.

Oh and 6. Asari threesome. Or foursome, given my track record with Asari NPCs encountered throughout.

Just sayin'.

The clone aging process accelerated so Clone Shepard could be able to fight and learn how to fight by the time he left his tube, but when Shepard came through the Illusive Man pulled the plug on him. Illusive Man pulled the plug at 15 and clone Shepard was probably put somewhere in the galaxy for safety like under a Matriarch. But tell me , in your opinion, how Bioware could put a young clone Shepard into the story. But he has to be vital to the story and not evil.

The inherit problem with the clone is if My/Your/Our main Shepard is still alive there isnt really a direct need for the clone to even exist. I'm one of the "This galaxy ain't big enough" people so it would be very hard for me to share my renown, store discounts, and ship with someone who looks, speaks, and acts exactly like me. You said the clone couldn't be evil so for him to truly have a role in the story he'd have to be a party member however I would never use/take him on any missions as he would just be a duplicate of myself and not add anything new to combat that I MYSELF couldn't do.

Weapons: The general Upgrade system in 2 was OK, though I did miss the fine tuning element of one. I think in 3, You should have a general weapon proficiency stat that upgrade based on how much you use a weapon. You should have multiple type of each weapons (with varying accuracy and damage and firing rate and such), then you should have upgrades like shield piercing, etc. that can be applied or removed and can be upgraded as well through resources.

Resources: You should be able to do both scan and explore. Scanning is quicker and safer, but gets you less
while exploring is longer and dangerous, but has huge payout

Powers: I think a class tree system would work excellently. Each class has a Three basic powers and then as you progress through the trees paths, you class will focus in certain aspect and you will gain other powers based on that specialization. Then at a certain point in the game about halfway and once you complete the tree you start on, you may pick one of the other trees to start though you wont complete it because you wont be getting that experience enough.

As for cast, I really like the 2 cast better, so it's kinda hard for me to get rid of anyone

Maybe just maybe but still I'd rather have Garrus and someone else with me, someone else like Mirranda for the eye candy during the downtime between Garrus and I pwning.....

I'd much rather have Garrus and all the other characters come back with huge Character developement then a lame tacked on Clone.

Also if the Illusive Man did have the Tech and know-how at his disposal to make a Clone of me I'd order him to pool his resources into finding somesort of cure for Thane as I can not think of a better use of resources than that.

Simple enough, what would you like to see?

My list (subject to change):

1: Bring back the planet exploration, but with a better vehicle (jetpack!)
2: Make engineers less gimped, the infiltrator could do everything they could better and had sniper rifles
3: A hanar on your squad!
4: bring back the complexity
5:A lack of heat sinks, The old ways were so much better
6: Some kind of melee weapon (plasma sword, omni-tool chainsaw,stun baton) mostly useless, but pretty much instant kill.
7: more spots perfect for sniping, I know cloak helps with sniping but say a balcony above the main fight
8: more alterante routes for squishy charecters eg airvents

Hahaha engineers less gimped? Sounds to me like you should play the class more. I've played through insanity with engineer and it was spectacular. Combat drones to reduce fire, spreading out the teammates to reduce concentration of fire, mass incinerates, overloads, and heavy pistol/cryo shots to freeze and eliminate exposed targets. It is really only hard if you don't use your teammates' powers often and/or want to run and gun. I don't like getting shot in video games, so being strategic with the engineer allows that.

Anyways infiltrator is an infiltrator, get in the heat of things stealthily and take out unsuspecting enemies, not walk around for a bit to find a nice spot to set up and shoot. Balconies are unnecessary, playing through insanity will teach you how to play any class well including vanguard. Although vanguard can be very difficult to grasp on insanity at first.

I dare say someone has probably already said this but the absent obvious multiplayer has been pestering me since me1 I'd agree to play as p2 if it meant I got to be the krogan. And the tech would be the one who has to play the minigame to hack things and bypass circuits. each individual player has to utilize their own abilities.

World exploration with terrian that didn't just look like a plastic tarp draped over a model of a city. Give me forests, dirt roads, rivers, coast lines, deserts, glaciers, anything that gives off the vibe "you could live here." Imagine driving the Mako (or similar vehicle) through something like the Black Forest or the Nile River Delta.
