"We need some kind of contigency, maybe we should do some recon on the other organizations before they decide to move on us? Give us some warning. We could also stand to recruit and expand."

"You mean find out about the other two groups that were hired along with us?" Verahl thought about this for a minute. "You're right, probably would be good to keep tabs on them. Anything happens to them that looks like Suns or Pack, and we leave the station."

"There's a fallback in case we get over run. When I had this place renovated, I had a shaft built through the utility floor leading to some catwalks on the level bellow us. They're hidden and will buy us some time if the inevitable does happen."

Verahl looked at the clock on the wall.

"Now I suggest we get some sleep and continue this discussion tomorrow."

Verahl got up from his stool. They had been talking almost an hour and a half now. Santius still wasn't back, but the shots being fired at the range bellow had stopped. As Verahl started up the stairs he stopped, and turned his Omni-Tool on.

"Just got a message from Dray. Told me that they just came out of the M.R. (Mass Relay). Says he and Mayli will be home in about an hour."

He turned and started to head back up the stairs.

"Night boss." Sal said heading back for her room. She was still exhausted.

Sorry this took me so long but between school and a new RP the just got going I've been a little wrapped up, but I'm back. By the way Ted I honestly think your doing great as the GM. It's moving a good pace right now.

Raven woke up slightly fried from the previous days events. All in all a little worse for wear, but today was a new day and planning needed to be donehe thought to himself as he walked into the common room which was uncharacteristically empty at this time, he proceeded to make one of the prepared meals Dray had left and eat.

Your doing great Ted, the only thing I think we need is maybe one or two more players but all in all the RP is running perfectly.

Thanks for the feedback. First, I'll address what axle brought up on more people. Right now, I agree, this RP could use with maybe another person or two. I've decided I'll at least keep one Merc controlled by me so I can have a bit more interaction with people on mission and such, and not leave it like in the first mission, where I couldn't get as good a feel. Only thing I'm a bit hesitant on is finding people who are commited. After the fiasco that was the orignal cast of this RP, let's just say that I've now developed a bit of worry about new people.

Secondly, thanks for the compliments. Was a little bit nervous at first how I would go about doing this. My first time GMing a forum RP was essentially the first time I've ever played a forum RP. Thankfully years of other RP experience helped though. Felt a bit like an ass at first for coming it at the end of DawnBreakers and taking charge of the new one. Only reason I wanted to though, was because for the longest time I've been thinking of doing some sort of ME RP, and after the breakdown in leadership and control there, I thouhgt it could use a bit more discipline. Anyways, enough of my ramblings, onto the next part of the game!

Note: Oh, and still open for feedback from Big and Ninja if either of you have any, but feel free to do that whenever. Actually that applies to all of you. Anyone feels there's a problem they want to address, please bring it up.

Dray walked down the stairs and into the common room. He smiled when he saw Raven.

"Good morning! Want me to cook something up for you instead of something frozen? Oh, and don't touch the sealed box in the fridge! That's for Sal, but Santius and Xandus can have some if she lets them."

He went over to the kitchen and picked up a glass of half full juice sitting on the counter. He took a sip from it and put it down.

"Want some by the way? It's Frittleberry juice. The Asari have the best fruit in the galaxy."

"In his office I think. I don't know if he's awake yet though, might want to be careful. He's usually in... Actually, he's normally not in any fouler mood in the mornings then he is the rest of the day," Dray said with a smile.

He had now poured a glass of Frittleberry, and had it sitting on the counter nearby.

"Want to try it? It's an Asari juice, very sweet."

"Sure Dray I'll take some along with some fresh grub if you can make it." Raven relaxed as the sweet smell of Dray's cooking filled the air and delicious juice filled his mouth. "Damn Dray it's pretty good."

Dray always felt complete bliss when the others appreaciated his cooking. They knew what it meant to him, but could never feel the sheer joy and fufillment he got by doing it. He always enjoyed cooking. It was the creation through it, he could help spread his happiness and thrill for life. He felt he could add a part of himself to a freshly cooked meal, and through it, make others feel as ecstatic as himself.

He smiled and said, "Thank you Raven, that means a lot."

For others, being constant complimented would accustom them to it. They would come to expect to be thanked for their skills on a constant basis. Dray was different though. Everyone could tell by the excitement in his voice, that every compliment meant the world to him, and even if it was the hundredth time you had said it to him, he treated it as well as the first.

"Do you know if Sal is up yet? I can't wait to show her what I got!"

"I could check for you Dray," Raven mumbled. It was the least he could do in exchange for Dray's fantastic cooking.

No reason to keep Dray waiting.

Sal sat up with a groan. Last night had not been her friend, between the mission and the drink, she had a hell of a night. She shuffled into the common room and into the kitchen. "Morning every one, good to see you had a safe trip Dray." she said sitting down with a grunt.

When Sal entered the room, Dray's smile opened even wider. He ran to her like a child who needed to show what he felt was the biggest and most valuable thing in the world to. His eyes lit up and he called her over. He almost yelled across the room at her, and his wave to come closer, looked more like an impression of an air traffic controller.

"I found it Sal! Despite what you said I knew I could come through and find something! And I did! Have you ever been to Illium Sal? It's beautiful, cities that strech on forever! And in all the chaos I found it!"

He pulled the sealed white box out from the fridge, and almost threw it on the table with anticipation.

"Guess what it is! Go on, guess!"

And now for the GM's fuck up of the week. Last week I had contact with a guy named Death Scythe about him joining up. I promised him I'd have him in by Monday, but due to my heavy weekend, I honestly forgot about him. So, now time for what I like to call, plot device!

Verahl stormed down the stairs into the Common Room where everyone was. He yelled across the room at the top of his lungs.

"All of you awake and armed! Drop the dishes and get a move on! Grab your equipment and meet on the transport in three minutes! We've got an extraction on our hands!"

He quickly ran down the stairs towards the armoury and soon came running up the stairs. The asleep company members walked out of their rooms, briefly stunned by what had violently awoken them, and the rest were sitting confused around the kitchen.

"Do you think this is a damn drill!? Get your moving!"

He ran back up the stairs, checking his weapons as he climbed them.

The company sat in silence for a moment, seeing Verahl suddenly break the morning calm.

"But... But breakfast..." Dray was completely taken aback by this new turn of events.

The company started to ready themselves as Dray stood frozen in the middle of it all.

Sal blinked when Dray put the box on the table. "Dray..What...Illium?" She stuttered looking from the box to Dray, his smile going from... Horn to horn? She thought while thinking what to say. "Well honestly Dray the only thing I could think of would be some rare purified Turian cuisine. Something that even Turians themselves rarely have." She said with a combination of knowing that Dray wanted to tell her himself and honestly not having a clue on what it could be.

Raven jumped to attention the instant Ver had entered the room and by the end of his speech was already sprinting to the armory. Grabbing his gear he began adjusting his weapons, the mantis and shredder on his back and two pistols holstered at his sides. Finally he placed his custom made bowie knife in its back sheath before joining Ver.

Wasn't sure if you meant leaving the base or extracting someone. Will edit post upon reply.

Edit! No! Wrong! After reading it again, I meant we're going to extract someone. When you said leave the base, it didn't click with me you meant abandon. Ignore that part, we're just going to go and get someone.

Dray's grin extended even farther some how when Sal mentioned the Turian cuisine. He had bought her a large amount of as many fine samples of their food he could find then had it purified for her.

"It's all yours, you don't have to give any of it to Santius or Xandus if you don't want to."

Verahl then came barging into the Common Room, yelling at the company to move out. Dray was stunned by this. It was going to be another perfect morning for them. He hadn't even had the chance to cook most of them something to eat, let alone have a friendly conversation with them. Sal hadn't even had the chance to try her present! His grin dropped, and his mouth now hung open, bewildered and confused by this change.

"Understood boss. Sorry Dray I really am. I promise to have this as soon as we're done. Weather it's dinner or midnight, I'm gong to have this." She assured him as she ran to her room and re-equipped her equipment that was still on the chair.
