Dray poked his head around the corner and into the storage room. He saw Sal, her back facing him, being lit up by an array of different monitors in front of her. He smiled to himself and decided he'd have some fun with her. He slowly crept up behind her, and made it to within a foot of her. He moved his hands around the side of her head, and then placed them over where he guessed in the helmet her eyes were.

"Guess who!" he eagerly exclaimed. He had been bored beforehand, and wanted to see if he could have some fun with Sal. He knew she was just watching cameras, he thought that it could wait, and he'd be able to distract her for a while to help break the silence the headquarters had fallen under.

"GAH!" Sal yelped nearly jumping out of her chair. She put her hand over her chest trying to stop the rapid beating. Kee'lah I need to be more aware of my surroundings Sal turned to Dray "Kee'lah Dray don't do that." She said with a chuckle. "I nearly would have jumped out of my suit."

When Sal jumped, Dray did as well. He didn't expect her to have such an extreme reaction. Suddenly he felt awful for pranking her like that. He probably left smugges on her visor as well. Now she'd be a bit annoyed trying to look through them, she might have to squint a bit to adjust to them, she might get a headache from them, or she'd have to clean it off herself.

"Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! Here! I'll fix it! I'll fix it!" he said, quickly, regret soaked in his voice.

He quickly looked around the storage room for something to wipe her mask off with. His head whipped from side to side as he searched, before finally stopping on a nearby rag, hung over a railing. He grabbed it, smiling. I'm fixing it, I'm fixing it! He repeated in his head.

"Hold still, I'll get it."

He wiped the rag over her mask quickly, pressing it hard against it to try and get the marks off. He then pulled the rag off, to look at her mask again. He expected it to be as it was before, flawless. But when he removed it, he discovered to his horror that the rag had been oily, and it had smeared her visor several times worse then if he did nothing at all.

He put his hands on his horns, trying to get a grip of himself. He was starting to hyperventalate. How could he make that mistake?! He though. He was always trying so hard with Sal, but he could never get things to work out right. I'm such an idiot! He was screaming at himself for making such a stupid and horrible mistake.

"No... No! No! No! I didn't mean to do that! Not that! I'm so sorry Sal!" his head was flaying from side to side again, as he turned his body nearly as quickly. He needed to fix his mistake now, he needed to repair the damage he had done.

"Dray, DRAY! Calm down it's okay." she said Sal said grabbing him by the shoulders. "Breath man breath, slowly. It's okay really, these thing happen all the time. If we hadn't figured a way out of it by now we would have had to evolve to see through this sorta thing. Look." She told him wiping her hand across her visor, the oil it;s seamed to slip away with her hand like water. "See no worries." She said wiggling her fingers now covered in oil. It'll take a little more than an oil smudge to blind a Quarian, I can assure you."

Dray looked at her and gave her a very meak and unconvincing smile.

"Yeah, right, everything's fine. I see..." he gave a short pause, as he treid to break eye contact with her. He felt so embarrassed right now. He had just made an ass out of himself, and humiliated her yet again. "I'll get out of your way now..."

His hands were fidgiting, doing everything they possibly could as he walked away to the stairs. His hands started flailing more aggressively until he was almost hitting himself.

"No! No! It was my mistake! She shouldn't have needed to fix it! It was my mistake! My mistake! I screwed up! Not her! She had to fix it because of me! Reminding her of the prison she's in in that suit!"

His breathes were heavy and quick. He puts his hands on his horns again, and slowly dragged them down over his eyes. He was sitting in the stairwell now, he had collapsed there against the stairs. He was trying to calm himself and pull himself back together. A few tears had started to streak down his face. His head was throbbing with pain as he continued to torture himself with his mistake. Alone in the stairwell, he was breaking down. Here he could do it with privacy, and get it out of his system. Otherwise he'd have to bottle it like most of his other problems, and hold it in until it hurt far worse.

Sal watched Dray go, his head bent. Kee'lah he tries so hard. and yet all that ever happens is the universe crushes his dreams. I gotta help him. Sal followed after Dray. she peeked around the corner, he was just laying there. She could see the tears along his face. Oh my he's really thinks it's his fault.

Sal walked over and sat next to him and out her arm around his shoulder. "Listen Dray, you need to realize something. You don't have to beat yourself up over everything that goes wrong. These thing happen to every one: Me, Raven, Hell even Ver and Lux. You can't let these things beat you, if you do all that hard work that you put into everything, will be meaningless, you have to keep working hard and when the Galaxy does this to you, you have to know that now matter what there will be people with you." She said tears starting to form behind her mask.

Ocara stood there in silence for awhile, the tension was killing him. He noticed Santius had a small amount of blood starting to trickle from the side of his mouth. "Those cameras give you a hard time Santius?" said Ocara trying to lighten the mood but instantly regreting it.

Raven continued laughing, a new smirk taking the place of the old one. "Well big guy I would hate to make things easy for you so please show us the extent of your thinking power and get us into the building unseen."

Lux:

"Alright, you're analyzing the details of the guard, and figuring out which one might be the best bet based on security, while I already figured it out by using simple reasoning."

He looked around and waited for a minute, watching the workers moving around the factories, and those leaving for their lunch breaks.

"You see, in a prime location like this, things here are generally quite busy. You'll always have workers pouring in and out of factories, trucks coming and going, and machinery being heard at every hour."

He turned, and looked over his shoulder, and pointed out a factory behind them.

"That one over there though, has no workers coming out of it, no trucks sitting around it waiting to be louded, and no machinery being used inside. This is one of the prime areas for factories on Omega, where a lot of Element Zero is processed. To find a factory here that isn't currently being used, and isn't churning out product, is a much better indication then which one has tighter security."

A smile lit up his face, as he toppled Raven's theory. His look said it all, it was telling Raven that I'm better then you. He knew that overthinking issues like this, and analyzing the details could make you miss the bigger picture, and in this case, he showed Raven up with it.

"Learning anything Basara? What about you Raven? Want to start taking notes?"

Verahl:

Ver gave a slight grunt as he turned away from the others.

"ETA, two minutes," he said, without adding anything more. No emotion was in his voice, no hint of regret or disappointment, just cold and straightforward. Verahl felt he didn't need to say a word about what happened to the others, that the situation would have explained itself.

The group stood in silence as they waited. Tension was now set, and no one dared to move against it, in fear of triggering events that could not be undone.

The Gauntlet came down in a parking lot nearby, and the group was there to meet it. They boarded it, as the engines hummed their normal tune, prior to take off. In a moment, it was in the air, and following the traffic back to the factories, to pick up Lux and the others.

Dray:

"But it has to be perfect, I have to be perfect!" he sputtered out. "Everything I do, I mess up! I taint it all at the last minute! I corrupt everything little thing I try and do! I... I..."

He could hardly speak anymore. His body was rocking back and forth, slightly, but quickly. Every sound he made showed the insecurity he felt. No syllable would sound solid, instead it sounded as though it was about to fall apart, and collapse in on itself. Dray wouldn't settle for anything less then perfection to deliver to others, and he could never seem to summon it. He always had one action that soured his attempts, and defeated his effort. What was a minor mistake in someone else's eyes, was a massive flaw to Dray, and one that just grew bigger and bigger as time passed. Now he felt as though he was suffocating in his mistakes, and unable to pull himself to the surface.

"I can't do it right, none of it! I cook a nice meal, you can't eat it! I find something suited for you, and you have to leave for another mission! I try to have fun with you and brighten up your day, and I just end up making a fool out of us both!"

During the ride Ocara carved another 'no-killing' notch into his rifle but he finished too quickly and found himself with nothing to do other than sit in the transport and try to relax despite the palpable tension that hung heavy in the air. He tried desperatly to try and find somthing, anything that would break the tension. Eventually he turned to Verhal and said "What now boss? We playing the waiting game now?"

Verahl looked up at Ocara, turned his head slightly to the side, and recalled the rest of the plan.

"Essentially. We watch and wait, and lay low for some time. We'll wait until we find a big fish to catch, and then move in on them. Then, kidnap, and execute, and frame Juno," he didn't like what he was saying, and sighed afterwards. "Simple enough."

"I know, still leaves a bad taste in my mouth," he leaned his head back and stared at the ceiling of the transport. He slowly closed his eyes and let out a sigh of exhaustion. "I've done a lot of bad things in my life."

"Haven't we all?" asked Ocara as he moved his hand over his cybernetic eye "You just gotta learn to burry the past real deep"

Sal stared at Dray tears running down her face. "Dray please try to calm down, for me." She pleaded "Never have you made a fool out of yourself or me. While it's true I can't eat anything you make for everyone else, that's not your fault. Neither is the Mission." She said trying to calm him down.

Raven waited for a bit, letting Lux have his moment before responding. "Yes Lux, I did learn something. Never let you be right about something because you enjoy it too much. Raven unslung his sniper rifle before getting a closer look.

"It does seem to have a lot of vorcha milling around. They aren't too bright so it should be pretty easy to sneak in to the base. Were should we plant the cameras O fearless leader?"
