Ocara weaved through the semi-crowded Omega streets, since it was afternoon, there was hardly anyone out and the deserted streets almost made the place seem liveable... Almost.
After watching over them restlessly for a few hours, he had left Thayna in charge of the refugee's, giving her a quick explanation to cover for his absence, it didn't matter, she would know all about it soon enough, they all would. He had seen no reason to tell the company about it before, but now it was tied up with business and the company would need to know, perhaps it could give them a greater idea of 4-6's reach and possibly even provide them with an upper-hand?
He ceased those thoughts for a moment, wanting to focus on the job at hand and so, as he arrived outside of the small bar once more, he took a deep breath to calm his nerves and entered.
As usual the inside was a small room with dark red walls and a light that didn't seemed to be used for decoration, rather than an actual source of illumination, due to its constant flickering when it decided to work.
The room was barley big enough for the tables and the three booths that sat in its corners, making the place seem cosy and even intimate. On the left was a large bar, its surface would normally have various small bowls of snacks for the many races that frequented the bar, but right now the only snack that he could see were some Human peanuts.
Not a good sign.
Another bad sign was the distinct lack of non-Humans in the bar, usually an old Turian would sit in the far booth, telling stories of the first contact war to all that would listen, eventually drowning himself in booze before he really got on peoples nerves. But today it was different, only Humans sat at the tables and booths, all of them staring right at him.
Ocara was not worried however, having just come from HQ, he had not had time to un-arm and so, he still wore his full combat gear, making him an intimidating target for any would-be bigots.
"OC! I wasn't expecting to see you until later!" said a cheery voice from the open door behind the bar and a few moments later a cheery face appeared in the space, followed by a very nice body... For a Human.
She practically vaulted the bar and ran to Ocara, before giving him a long embrace, stepping back once they were done and looking at his face, concern in her eyes but a warm smile on her perfect face.
He smiled back at her as he spoke, not wanting to worry her.
"Lexi...We need to talk"
