"Any chance we can see about L5 implants? If we can get them, I've got a friend who'll implant, so we can do them before the mission." Elias said, subconsciously drilling his temple with his index finger.

Verahl stopped talking when Marcus entered the room. Sindri was sitting in one of the chairs in front of it and it appeared as though the two were in the middle of a conversation.

"Hold on a second Sindri..."

Verahl took the list from Marcus and looked it over. He then burst out laughing, and said mockingly:

"A Revenant AND a Blackstorm! Marcus, you're hilarious! First off, I'm still convinced that the Blackstorm is nothing more then myth and speculation, and do you know how rare a Revenant is? I pulled mine of a dead Krogan Warlord and have only seen a few people carry others. Not to mention the cost of one of those would be more then if you took everyone's share for yourself. The explosives he'll definetly have, but I don't know how much those kinetic plates and shielding mods will run you. He's coming by in the next couple hours anyways, so ask him yourself when you see him. I suggest you rewrite the list though without the first two items, or else he'll never let you live it down and won't ever take you seriously. Now if you excuse us, I need to continue this conversation with Sindri in private."

Good news everyone! You are now all reading this in my voice!

Alright, with that aside... This is actually a bit of bad news. I just sent a few messages around to some of the inactive players and both Xandus and Hairmonator have decided that they no longer want to RP.

In their place, we'll have two new people soon joining, Darth Caelum and BigZ225. Assuming they are both still interested in RPing, they'll be joining us for the next mission.

Marcus laughed with him, he knew the list wouldn't be approved, it was ludicrous at best but he got the reaction he wanted from his boss.

"I wanted to see if you could laugh Verahl, you always seem so calm and collected sort like you have a stick up your ass. No offense. Anyway, I can understand the Revenant because I myself have only seen a few but would love to try it out. Do we have any heavy weapons in supply, Maybe a firestorm would suffice."

I'll try not to post this infrequently, but I've been quite busy over the past few days and will be for the next while. Also been trying to sort out the addition of two new players and figure out how to work them in. And how to work Sindri out...
"That stick has been good to the lot of you though. And yeah, we got a few toys, but I have something special in mind for you. Now please leave."

Marcus left the room and Verahl started to speak to Sindri again.

Vek sat, consentrated, meditating once again. He was focused on attaining a more aware state of mind, using the time between missions as a chance to regain and improve his level of mental control and determination. He sat, utterly focussed on the energy around him, on the concepts and practices of the effective warrior. Nothing could break his utterly dedicated focus...

Suddenly, he felt hungery.

It was at this notion, combined with a quick glance at his wallmounted clock, that he came to the sudden and frustrating realization he had missed breakfast while meditating. This would not be nearly as important, were it not that he had not eaten in several long hours and so. revelation that utterly broke his concentration.

Furious, he stood up, and began making his way to the common area.

"Where is the Salarian! I require a small, cooked mammal immediately!"

"Sorry buddy, Drey stepped out." Sal called not looking up from her rifle which was half disassembled.

"Yeah, maybe if you didn't spend so much time sleeping you wouldn't have that problem," Xandus commented. He was lieing on one of the couches, with his feet up on the end and with a cool drink on the table nearby, while messing around with his Omni-Tool. "Least then you'd be awake for breakfast."

Vek scowled at the Turian.

"I do not 'Sleep' Turian. My level of mental training requires total, absolute focus. Ofcourse, I would not expect an inferior warrior such as yourself to understand..."

If he did not eat soon, his focus would be off. If he did not eat, all of his dedication and work meditating for the past few hours would mean nothing.

"Who else is capable of ifficently preparing norishment?"

"Why don't you just get something from the fridge? Dray always leaves food there for us. Hell, if you want something fresh go to the market even. Either that or can someone get this guy some candy or something to stop his whining?" Xandus said, still not bothering to move or even look over from the couch.

-----

Verahl and Sindri stepped out of Verahl's office. Sindri went back down to the common room, and Verahl was about to also, before he heard Zar call for him. He came around the corner and saw a Batarian sitting over in the waiting room with a black and red Varren by his side. He was short by Batarian standards, but very well built. He wore a long black jacket that went past his knees, over a dark red hooded shirt, with the hood hanging back out over the jacket. On his belt there was a specialized gas mask for Batarian's, and on the shoulder of his jacket, a patch had been added on. It was unrecognizable to anyone but Verahl, but Verahl had known it well. Under that logo he had worked for several years with this Batarian.

"Tarnak! It's been too long!" Verahl said loudly as he met his old friend.

"Hell, it's always too long with you Ver... And I'm not saying that just because you follow through with your payments. You lose weight by the way?" Tarnak was messing with Ver. He was laying the salesman act on very thick right now to Ver as a way to break the ice between the two.

"You're here earlier then I expected," Verahl said rather surprised. "We weren't expecting you for another couple hours."

"My appointment before you cancelled. Well, not really canceled, but turns out that the guys he was buying to fight against had bigger guns then him even if I delivered the new ones to him. Paid in advance though, and got to keep the guns. I'm telling you, it's a lucky day for me. Besides, I wouldn't mind meeting the people in this company you've formed. I heard that they were some of the best on Omega, no surprise though because they're with you though. I mean, who wouldn't be successful with Verahl the Gre---"

"You can cut the shit now Tarn, c'mon, let's get to it then."

"Always has been straight to business with you hasn't it, but just for this, I'm not letting you in on my special, one time offer of buy one, get one at regular price."

The two walked downstairs, with the Varren following close behind Tarnak, into the common room where most of the company was.

Verahl spoke loudly above their voices, "Listen up! This is an old friend of mine Tarnak, he's the weapons dealer I told you all about. He's here early so if you need anything get it from him. He might even throw a discount in for you guys since you're with me."

"Only if you get me some ryncol and some meat for Rex!" Tarnak said as he sat down on a couch and put his feet up on a table. He pulled out a cigarette from his pocket and started smoking it. "Welcome to Tarn's Quality Weapons, remember, if your gun suffers from some for of a catastrophic breakdown when you're in the middle of combat, I take no responsibility."

He took a shot of the ryncol Verahl got for him, and then said loud enough so everyone could hear it clearly, "Now who's first?"

Oh, and Birras also just quit. Anyone know someone they'd want to invite into this?

Sal got up from her seat and approached the Batarian. "I need the Titan Pulsar rank 1 for the Heavy pistol, the Phasic Jacketing for the Tempest, and the Scram Pulsar rank 1 for the Viper, if you please?" She asked Tarnak.

Ugh... Alright, more bad news, Ninja's now out also.

Question to the four of you remaining, or three, or however many are going to play/be active. What do you want to do? Do you want to keep going ahead with this? Want me to restructure it a bit so we can play with a smaller amount of people who'll be more constant on posting and such? Or want to try and get more people in on this?

I'm hesitant to continue pushing forward without a definitive course of action on what we're going to be doing, so let's figure that out first.

Take that as code for, we're on hold for a bit so we can decide the next course of action.

We have two more people who are interested in joining still so we should be including them since I already invited them when it was just Xandus and Hairmonator who quit, but I'm not sure what to do anymore. I'm tempted to say cut the group to a smaller size if we can try and keep more active on this. That way we'll be able to keep this RP going at a good pace, and have it so we don't spend a long amount of time waiting for replies from people.

However, I want to hear everyone's opinions before I do anything, so let's take a brief time out to talk.

Well that sucks but I refuse to let this die. A restructure is possible, But let's start from where it is here, still keep all that happened, just that everyone who quit left after said mission.

Essentially I was meaning something similiar to that for a restructure. I'd write some characters off, Sindri for example, and create a couple extra mercs for me to play inbetween everything.

I agree with Ted, you would just have to come up with a way of writing them off be it they quit or they died. Also is ninja gone for good or just till he gets a new account?

I haven't gotten a reply back from him but I think for good.

And the problem won't be the excess of their old characters. If I restructure, I'm going to restructure the NPCs. I'll likely keep Xandus as an NPC, maybe Santius with a couple changes, and throw away Sindri and Moloa. Or I might just write up a couple other NPCs to take their place in the company. What I'm trying to make is at least a couple people who you can always interact with so people aren't waiting around for ages for someone to respond. I'm generally in front of the computer most evenings, so this way I can respond to what you guys post and provide multiple characters and thus more options. If you want restructuring, I'll do something similiar to this. Keep it a lower number of people in total, but make it so I'll be a more interactive GM for the rest of you to use.

Sounds good and we did this for another RP of mine and it's still going, put Character sheets up for a vote. If people want to join they PM their sheet to you. Then during one of your posts, you put it in a spoiler and ask what we think, If we like hey we have a new member, if not they can try again later. And we just keep that up until we have enough people, should someone quit, they leave after a mission or die during it. Now this is all just a suggestion of course.

Alright, just a quick heads up for what I'm doing.

For the moment, this RP is on hold. I'm currently in the process of writing up a few new characters and revamping some old for use later on. I want to know though what you're opinion is on numbers though.

We're currently sitting at three. Sage, Pat, and Axle. I'm not counting myself in this. My question is though what do we want to do in terms of people. If we invite the other two in I'm fine with sitting on two, but we'll need to ensure activity. The first part we played had 8 people and a lot of my time on here was waiting for people to post because I didn't want to cut people off from their chance to post, leading to my GMing being more suddenly and less smooth.

Here are the sheets that have been proposed to me.

Darth Caelum

Name: Michael Morgan

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Age: 28

Appearance: 6'1, short unkept Black hair, Well-built, Cybernetic Implants shown visible on His Eyes which has a Yellow Tint and the left side of his face which shows the Majority of His Cybernetic Implants (think Shepherd's face on Full Renegade"), Typically wears a Cerberus Uniform during his free time (has gotten him into a lot of fights.) Wears Armor with A Black Tint with white stripes.

Class: Adept

Powers: Shockwave, Warp, Throw, Pull

Pre-Service Record:
A former Cerberus Operative, Michael was Deployed in Diplomatic Situations where Cerberus absolutely HAD to win. Officially, he has Defused 17 Diplomatic Relations, Assassinated the Leaders of 8 Sub-Groups of Eclipse, Blue Suns and Blood Pack Mercenary Groups.
Has Liquidated 2 Cerberus Cells under Authorization from The Illusive Man, one due to Viral Outbreak, Liquidation Achieved through Orbital Bombardment of the Facility. And the other, when it was discovered that the Cell had Undercover Operatives working for the Systems Alliance. Cell was Liquidated through Poison administered through Ventilation System, All Personnel inside were dead within 12 hours, all escape pods wear booby trapped before hand so that the persons using it were shocked with enough Electricity to kill a Krogan in a Blood Rage in 3 seconds.
Records were recovered from bodies indicated the Man Overseeing the Alliance Operation. Operative Morgan orchestrated Liquidation of the Man, along with his entire Crew through the Overloading of the Engine's Element Zero Core . All Hands were lost.
Left Cerberus due to Disagreements with Cerberus' attitude towards other species, Illusive Man Attempted to have him killed, he sent 10 Cerberus shock troopers to apprehend Operative Morgan. Operative Morgan Narrowly escaped attempt, and destroyed the Facility he was on by activating the On-Site Nuclear Device Present.
Joined The Aegis Protection Firm when their Leader, Verahi learnt of his past and recruited him.
Current Whereabouts Unknown.
Status: Wanted for Liquidation. Order Approved from the Illusive Man.

Psychological Profile: He is a outwardly Cheerful and Calm Individual. When Presented with a Problem, he solves it through the Most Effective Means Possible, regardless of Moral Implications. Believes in the Maxim "The End Justifies the Means" and lives it Daily. He is Proficient In Diplomatic Matters, Assassination Protocols, Espionage, and knows how to make A mean Omelet. He is only an "Average" Fighter though he has Excellent control over his Biotics and Knows his Guns better than anyone. When Questioned why he sucks at combat so much, he replied "Combat is so messy, all that gunfire, screaming, and your shield failing. I would much rather prefer to sabotage the Opponents Ship so they will doe of Asphyxiation, much less messy. Plus we would have access to their Equipment.'

Notes: He uses a Tempest SMG as his main weapon, and a customized M-4 Shuriken Machine Pistol that is Significantly more powerful than the original specifications, and has upgraded Heat Sink Capabilities so it can fire more shots than it's brethren.

To me, this is a bit god modded, and the spelling and grammar could use some work.

BigZ225

Name: Ocara Severitus

Gender:Male

Race: Turian

Age:19

Appearance: Average Turian Height and build, He has a dark face marked with various rectangular colony tattos and a deep black eye his other eye is a cybrtnetic replacement.

Class: Infiltrator

Powers: Operative, tactical cloak, disruptor ammo , cryo ammo and damping

Pre-Service Record: Born and raised on Palaven Ocara Joined the Turian military at 15 and excelled at his training, though his assualt rifle handling was average at best his pistol and sniper rifle skills placed him at the top of the class and in bitter opposition to the rest of his unit. This opposition while generaly consisting of isolation and contempt reached a new level when his unit orchistrated an 'accident'on the range resulted in the loss of Ocara's left eye and the death of two members of his unit. On the run from the law he sought refuge in the Terminus systems and scraped a living with various small merc orginisations. He hopes to join the up and comming Aegis Protection Firm to escape his past and secure his future.

Psychological Profile: Ocara likes to think himself a loner but secretly craves to be accepted and find his place in the galaxy. While operational he is known for his icy cool and sarcastic pointed comments and observations. On the surface he is an unfriendly cynic but to those who have earned his trust he is a realiable, friendly ally to have at your back with a slightly twisted sense of humor.

Notes: Ocara uses a Naginata IX sniper rifle, a kessle VI pistol and while being inept with assualt rifles, shotguns etc he is very proficient in unarmed combat and is very familiar with the use of the several concealed knives he carries.

Aside from a couple little spelling bits and my want for few more details, I think this character has a pretty good concept. It's a good base to develop off of. He's also a first timer for forum RP, and shows potential.
