"Oh, most definitely." Magnus said to Duncan's mother. "Tell me, does he still look as much like a girl as he did several years ago? My brothers used to tease him when we would come and visit our family here. Then he'd send out one of his Bug Pokemon, and they'd end up stung pretty badly."
Magnus received a sudden vibration from his pocket, and saw that it was a number he didn't know. Debating whether or not to answer it, he pressed the
button and excused himself from the sitting room.
"Hello?" Magnus asked. "Who is this?"
"Magnus!" A familiar male voice said from the phone. "Fuck, it is you!"
"Matthew?" Magnus asked, it was his eldest brother. "Matt, how are you, man?"
"How are you, my ass. The Kiln Master's son called, he said he saw someone that looked like you walk past the Azalea Pokemon Center. Seriously, are you in-town?"
"Yeah, I am. I'm at the house of one of the people I'm traveling with. The Deity's place."
"No shit? You have to come over, man. Farrah and Beth will be ecstatic to see you. Stop by for dinner, you and your friends, sometime this week."
"Don't worry... I plan on seeing you, and the rest of the family while I'm here." Magnus said to his brother. "I gotta go now, I'm being a bad guest. I'll talk to you later. Bye."
"Bye, little brother."
Magnus hung up his phone, and walked back into the sitting room. He sat back down, and apologized for his leaving.
"Sorry about that... Word travels fast." Magnus said as he sat down.
