"Garnet, Salad, Bore, come on out!" Magnus called out his lowest-level Pokemon. "Time to train you up, then. Bore, shake the trees, please."
The large Onix slammed his tail gently, gently for an Onix, anyway, against the trees, knocking loose several Bug-Type Pokemon. A pair of angry Beedrill attacked the Rock-Snake Pokemon, but he quickly dispatched them with a powerful Rock Throw.
"Excellent work! Garnet, you can take out that Exeggcute, can't you?" Garnet nodded, and peppered the Grass-Type Pokemon with a series of Embers. Magnus looked over to Salad, and apologized to her.
"I'm sorry, Sal. You've got a type disadvantage against almost all of these Pokemon... Come on back, girl." Magnus returned his Bellsprout to her pokeball, feeling a bit sorry for the Pokemon. He turned back to Garnet and Bore, and had them continue their training as a pair of Butterfree flew by.
"Garnet, Ember. Bore, Rock Throw." Magnus said to his Pokemon as they attacked the Bug-Types, knocking them out handily. "Forgive me, dear Pokemon. I thank you for your gift in making my Pokemon stronger... May you live long, and have many offspring."
Magnus said this small little blessing after each wild Pokemon he defeated. He said a similar after each kill he made, as well. People often forgot the sacrifices that Pokemon made to Trainers. Without the proper respect paid for each and every one, a person loses his humility, and his place in nature.
