He used you. he's not worth anymore of your thoughts. but the redhead in your group? He's amazing. stick with archery but don't go to the nationals in 2010. and in august 2010 tell them to take him to the vet. don't leave it till the 7th.
Your life will get better. but it will get worse first. people care. you probably don't believe me but 100 panadol puts things in persspective. and don't worry about the red head rejecting you.
love, you In two years

Sounds a lot cool than it was. Saw a group of guys dragging a few girls into an ally, thought was good enough to play the hero, got beaten, bashed and sliced to pieces.

If I hadn't have called the cops before I went into the ally, all I would have done is get killed and probably have traumatized the girls more with dying. I don't even remember calling the police, or much of the fight... or much about the surrounding weeks to be honest. Apparently I gave one hell of a fight and took a few out, but I honestly don't remember, at least I held long enough for the cops to get there for the girls.

But if I could go back, I would do it again... Hell if I saw it about to happen today I would jump in... Just kinda who I am, an idiot with a white knight complex

Dear me roughly 6-7 years ago 2 Things DO NOT EVER EVER GET A CREDIT CARD.
Do not buy a flat and if you will insist on the first one you know the one which has the sweet shed out the back you can live in while renting tthe main building, the second one they will buy on their own in your name you won't even see it until the blunder has been made If you rent it out it will still cost you $6000 a year and the economy will crash before it gains so much as a dollar. what I want you to do is keep saviung that 10 grand you've managed to accumulate and then put it all on Makybe diva The bali trip can wait makybe diva 3 years in a row, trust me it'll make sense at the time. Oh and Get the heck out of woolies that place will destroy what little soul you managed to keep It'll be fine until the touch screen computers come in then you'll have so little to do You'll have to actually listened to what those damned humans have to say and trust me they never stop talking and they only become worse over time

No, that does actually sound incredibly cool. World needs more people like you. The fact that I've put an end to a case of domestic abuse sounds like nothing when comparing to that. At the very least you were being altruistic by putting the well being of others ahead of yours. I just got by with being intimidating and calling the cops.

To the little girl who thought she was ugly:

"Don't worry about being bullied and being alone. One day you'll have friends who want to spend time with you because they want to be with you, not cos there's no one else around. Don't worry that guys don't want to 'be your boyfriend'. It won't be what you were wearing or how you did your hair that day that will get you your very first boyfriend who liked you first for how you spoke. The very thing you hoped they'd like about you.

(P.S. All those years you had no clue what the Doctor Who knock-knock joke was on about, get clued up. We -I mean you- were missing out! So please, watch the new series of Doctor Who the first time round when it comes out.)"

Hey, little boy. I'm doing my best up here. It's a thankless job and nobody feels the same. You work long hours, watch your credit rating, pay your taxes and prepare to die. Little boy, I think you were always right, I've dropped that worthless life and I'm moving on. Life should be an adventure. I'm stealing back my soul, I've lost too many years, but now I'm awake.

To myself age... 12

1. Do your homework and deadlines, the games you play will not get any good follow ups anyway.

2. Beware of girls, they don't like it when you dump them.

3. Join the military, if you're lucky, you'll get shot. Hmm... Might have been a bit emo and harsh.

4. Stop talking to yourself, you won't like it when you start answering yourself. Oh and man up, you will be gone before you're 30. So help people out, worst that can happen you die a few years ahead, and you will miss out on some glorious years of slowly dying.

To me aged 14: 'STOP OBSESSING ABOUT GETTING A BOYFRIEND. IT REALLY DOESN'T IMPROVE YOUR LIFE THAT MUCH.' NB: I'm not referring to a current boyfriend, I don't have one and that would be kind of mean, but the two I've had since I was 14 were not as such the dashing princes I was hoping for. On a slightly odd note, I actually have a letter I wrote my future self (I don't think I was meant to open it until 2020 though, oops) where I remind myself 'how important getting a boyfriend was to you' and beg myself to appreciate any imaginary future boyfriends all the more because of how desperately I wanted one when I was 14.
