Either Pay the money and get what you want or shut up in my opinion, the incessant bitching can be quite annoying as you can guess.
Except I bought a Wii and can't afford another console, so I'm allowed to complain.

Think if Mario came out on the 360. Fanboys/girls would be pissed, but Nintendo would make a lot of money. Maybe.
If Nintendo began making their major first-party releases multi-platform they would actually lose money, since the profit they made would be overshadowed by an exponential drop in Wii sales.

yes embrace MS corruption....
Sony are far from angelic. Try reading about how they handled the bleem! ordeal.

Kojima Productions, unlike many dev teams, tends to learn form past mistakes. It is unlikely that they will try an x-box release of Metal Gear again.
By "failure" I assume you mean commercially, since MGS2 was as good on the Xbox as it was on the PS2. If that's the case, the point is moot, since the Xbox 360's user base is inherited as much from the PS2's as the original Xbox's (sales would suggest this), meaning MGS4 would have a better chance of succeeding.

RE: Bleem: lol, nothing out of the ordinary but ty for the heads up.
Nintendo aren't doves either, of course - take their draconian policies regarding third-party rights during the 8-bit era, for example. Insofar as I can tell, the "Big Three" are all bad.

No, no your not, I don't have NEARLY enough money for everything I want it doesn't give me the right to complain, ***** and whine about how a game is not on my console(s) of choice, I take it in good grace and become patient.
Well, I am determined to stick with the Wii for now. I figure there's fifteen or so games I want, plus I can buy a few GC ones I never played and hack WiiWare and VC using homebrew on rainy days.

Well hopefully it isn't Metal Gear Solid 5, because i like the way Kojima said this was his last MGS and he ended it off great. If its a port of MGS 4 to 360 than great, everyone now gets to enjoy this awesome game. Personally i am hoping its another Metal Gear Acid, im one of the few out of my friends that loved playing that game.

On the back of such huge success I suppose it was inevitable. I wonder which direction it will go in from here. Maybe a set of Ocelot prequels? More Raiden? Then again, I might be the only one who'd want more Raiden in my Metal Gear.

But musings aside. I think it's a good thing, spread the love.

Metal Gear Ac!d is like the drug to me. Seriously, after I really understood the fundamentals of the game, it became addicting. I can't tell you how many times I replay certain levels just because I want to sneak through no kills, no alerts, and as fast as possible. Mind you, Metal Gear Ac!d2 didn't have the same feeling to it, and I couldn't get into it as much. Still a great game though.

As perviously stated, I'm big fanboy of the series. You know how bad? I have every Metal Gear game from the NES days, PS1, PS2, PSP, and PS3. that also includes the 2 Digital Graphic Novels..

EDIT: I must regretably admit that there is ONE Metal Gear game that I do not own. Snake's Revenge. Although it isn't considered to be a true Metal Gear game.

first point - Not a teaser trailer. It was made by the guy posting it up. It was basically a small bit of a song put over a 15 second slide of the Picture posted on Kojima's site

second point - Who gives a crap. PS3 still have a lot of good exclusives coming. 360 fanboy's just don't want to admit it because they are emotionally invested in their console. Bioshock was regarded as a great 360 exclusive. It became multi-plat.

Now can we shut up about it?

The big deal is that the Sonytards are touting the almighty power of their new God (blu-ray) and how disc switching will be a horrible blight upon the 360 peasantry.

The 360Tards meanwhile are just touting the fact that Sony might lose another exclusive.

That's the big deal.

Apparently.

I'm on the side of the 360 users only because I really would like the Sony fans to shut up about pricing points and their stupid blu-ray. Yes I said it was stupid. Deal with it.

Well considering that Microsoft are getting their mitts on all sorts of franchises to expand their appeal, my only concern is the porting thing. I haven't seen a PS3 game that isn't an exclusive, look good. Bioshock may be an exception but that's had a lot of work on it to make it PS3 friendly.
