I honestly don't care, I found the game to be rather mediocre when I played it on a friend's console. But to answer your question, I agree, PS3 owners have been holding out for good exclusives, looking at their console as a long term investment, but with FFXIII turning, LittleBigPlanet and MGS4 are the only (allegedly) good exclusives they have
White Knight Chronicles, inFamous, The Ratchet and Clank series, FFXIII Versus.
There is more but I honestly can't be to arsed to go check.
I really don't like any of those besides Ratchett and Clank, and that ship seems to have sailed, with the team doing more PSP games instead

Yes, yes, and we all know 18 of those 20 discs would be taken up by long boring cutscenes

And the other 2-20 would be the interesting cutscenes. The gameplay comes on a floppy disk. Naturally, Microsoft will charge £260 for the Floppy Drive attachment.

As far as I'm concerned X-box owners can have MGS4 and play it all they want. I got mine and I love it as I love my PS3. I see no problem in everybody getting to enjoy as many games as possible. I will however agree with Onmi that until the game actually shows up on the 360 people should stop bitching or buy a PS3. You don't hear me whining about not getting to play GeoW. If I want to do that I buy a 360 or wait (even if waiting is probably futile). So I don't play it and I don't whine. Cough up the green or shut up and wait.

Another thing though: I think exclusives is a good thing for me as a PS3 owner. At least that way I know that the game isn't a half assed port of a game made for 360. The developers can make what they want out of the hardware without needing to be concerned about fitting it on DVDs. I think that is part of what drives the technology forwards. (This argument of course works both ways). I am a bit pissed about having to play Fallout 3 on PS3 as it seems I got shafted. So, in some respects exclusives are a good thing. But in general I don't mind multiplatform. And at some point I'll get the money and buy a 360 (also, there need to be a bit more decent games for the damned thing) and see what the fuss about GeoW is about. Until then I'll shut up.

Also the image of the 20 DVD box of MGS4 is funny as hell, even if wildly untrue. :D Have some sense of humor guys.

Now I have to go do something to silence the inner fanboy that really doesn't want MGS4 on the X-box because the damn X-bots can't have it all dammit. :) He's an annoying jerk who pops up now and again. He and I have some serious arguments about what to think. Luckily I win most of the time.

If it came to the 360 it would further support what I have saying for a while now. The death of exclusives.

Yes because Metal Gear has been the PINNACLE series of exclusive titles, uh hu, nope never gone multi-platform before...

Oh wait.
I don't care what you say. One of the big appeals that the PS3 has is their supposed exclusive MGS4. IF it goes multiplatform nothing will disuade me from the belief that exclusives will eventually die. This wouldn't be a shitty Nintendo port. A Microsoft port would be huge.

The trailer is just something that someone threw together, but the image of the i+! is real. I think it means a Metal Gear Ac!D game coming out on iPhone. Would make sense with the symbols.

I've been to other forums where PS3 owners are saying that "That's never going to happen" or "It's probably just a PSP game" and I think their just in denial. I'm excited to have another blockbuster title on the 360, at least I'm getting my moneys worth.

If there was a metal gear on the 360, it would have a lot of discs, probably because I can't see a man like Kojima scaling down the number of cutscenes and the would reckon he'd try to make everything bigger and flashier. This would either result in a difference in the game between the two systems, or lots of discs for the 360, meaning something would be lost, or downgraded, or you'd need to free up some space in you're home.
