A digimon MMO (think it would class as one of the only MMO's without the option to be human of some form, and even then you could probably chose to be a digi-trainer.)

every 10 levels you get to egg-digivolve or every twenty you go through a full digivolution.

The Knights of the Republic MMO but it is taking far too long.
Someone's impatient... didn't they just announce this a few months ago?

Anyways, even though I've pretty much grown out of Pokemon I agree with Heppenfeph. Pokemon seems like it was almost designed for MMOs.

I also like Darkside's idea, though it'd be hard to find enough players that would be willing do play under the direct order of another player who's the captain. It works with guilds because it isn't a constant hand ordering you around... with that, it'd take constant rule to be able to run a ship correctly.

I'm a die-hard KOTOR fan, so I'm a bit impatient for games like these.
Dont worry 2011 will come fast.
I hope *sad face*

I would like to see an MMO that plays like an First/Third Person Shooter set in an SciFi universe. Anything that would be magic in a fantasy game would be technology. The game would have interplanetery space travel.
There would be no set factions. Guilds(or something similar) could group to become faction and declare war on others. Epic space and ground battles would decide the victor of this war. Guilds could build their own cities that can be destroyed if an oppossing factor would win enough battles.
I would also like to see that skill is more important than gear/level, eg. One could have the best armor and weapons and still lose because of terrible aim or lack of dodging skills.
And I would also make it that the best gear(weapons; armor; vehicles; spacecrafts) would be player-made. The creator would have several customisation tools to choose how it would look and what stats it has.
My only problem is that I can't come up with a healing class without ripping of Team Fortress...

In other words, EVE, only good.

I know people have said this before, but the only reason EVE sucks is because it's a bean-counter's game, and while I have friends who like it (and like watching them play on occasion), if you're looking for some action in a game, you can't get it from EVE.

What I'd like to see is to take the basic idea of EVE (player-run space game), add a way to gain skills from doing things (keep the part where you get skills over time, but make doing certain actions worth time in certain skills), and make it play like Freelancer (only FPSpace game I've played).

Quick google. Yes like space-hulk, only with less survivability. Starcraft practically IS warhammer, with a little less rediculous proportions. Sorry bout that, not big on boardgames.
Aye, no problem. As an FYI, Starcraft in its original form was heavily based off of Warhammer 40K, as seen with the Zerg and Terran marines.
I'm well aware, I had a ball looking for all the easter eggs and inspiration sources when the game came out.

WarHammer, Aliens... I've always felt warhammer was a bit goofy (apologies to those who like the game). Starcraft has a setting I fell in love with because I could actually see it happening. Its gritty and real. Look at the original artwork for the Ghosts from Metzen...then look at his brilliant idea to use the same graphical designs as everyone else on Earth (glowly light super ninjas). The design shift is probably the only reason I wouldn't really want to see a Starcraft MMO. "Look what they did to Warcraft" and all that...

I would Kill *brandishes bloody spoon* for a .hack// MMORPG.

It makes perfect sense to me. They just need to turn the single palyer game into a multi player format.

the skill angine coudl use soem tweaking obviously, but i see alot of potential.
Oh, hell yes! I second that, if "The World" were an actual MMORPG I would probably get it and play it 24/7.

I just thought of one that surprisingly has always slipped my mind that I think would make a pretty decent one. Final Fantasy 6, make an MMORPG out of the War of the Magi. The dreadful conflict that happened 1000 years prior to the game that ruined civilization and set it back centuries. Cmon it's a solid idea that could probably be done well, an opportunity to expand on that tiny bit of lore and turn it into a big epic conflict MMO style. You could be a human or an esper duking it out with magic, magitek, and all sorts of cool stuff in a steampunk setting.

Bleach Online.

Zanpakuto customization, hollow busting, full character customization (like City of Heroes), ability to join Gotei 13/become a Substitute Shinigami/be a rogue fighter/betray and join the Arrancars... And 12 best players would be able to become Captains.

Of course, with all the rules - player would have to achieve Bankai (fully customizable and growing in power with the character) or defeat the previous Captain in front of 100 other players.

It would be fast-paced, bloody and awesome.

Real Life.

Yea it'd need more adventures but we'd get all the idiots out of the way immediately because they can't find the breathing trainer.

A good one

That being said I'll have to say that a Naruto MMO could be really cool.

Star Trek Online would have been like that, until the old company dropped it and Cryptic took over. Makes me a sad cheetah..
Well, at least Cryptic has a far better track record with their games than Perpetual ever did.
