Shouldn't people judge the boycott's success or lack thereof based on the sales on the PC platform compared to Call of Duty 4? Doesn't making threads like this which serve to mock the boycott whilst linking to total overall sales make the people creating such threads complete morons?

Although a breakdown of sales per platform would also be useful.

I love how everyone is making fun of the boycotters for boycotting a game that they like even though Activision screwed over PC gamers, is trying to charge people even more to play online, and is probably one of the greediest companies in the world while no one was upset when a bunch of whiney people started boycotting Left 4 Dead 2 for no good reason whatsoever.

I didn't buy it and I'm "boycotting" Activision but I know it won't make a difference. People will throw their money at whatever shiny game comes their way and then laugh at people who save their money for a game slightly better than another mediocre game thrown out their by a big name greedy developer who couldn't care less about their fans other than the fact that they give them money.

Ask yourself why there were hacks, mods, and rampant piracy for both the PC and the Xbox 360 within two days of launch.
Find at least three PC gamers who honestly thought this game was worth it.

Personally i think its a stupid boycott anyway. Can't they just appreciate the epicness of the game as it is anyway? Does it really need to do all the things the first one did not to be "boycotted" (i use the word loosely).

Quite frankly I find this whole situation hilarious because the people who are mocking the pc gamers who boycotted are going to get nickled and dimed to death by Activision who knows they can get away with cutting content from games,increasing the price,releasing basically the same game every year,etc...

To those people,go ahead and laugh,just don't come complaining when it's your turn to be in this situation.

Em I'm sorry but that is roughly 800 out of over 200,000 and the boycott was PC only so you can't look at total sale to say if the game was a success so can please shut up about it unless you know your facts and stop making repeat threads with different titles.

If you don't get the boycott fair enough but stop going on about it in a negative or positive way unless you know what you're on about.

Which is unfair as it was the PC GAMERS who made cod what it is this is what a lot of the anger stems from.
