Sounds different, wonder if you can kill the children? Maybe sell them to the slave traders?
I shall reserve judgement for when the game comes out.

I dunno if this has been posted here but this is the first Diary of Fable 3, it shows some gameplay too.

Right so he's adding more pointless interaction (see Yahtzee review) and changing the HUD. Wooo. When they start talking about how the story isn't going to be made of swiss cheese, I might care.

This actaully sounds kinda...Awesome...Really, maybe the Natal features might not be so bad if you have to fight to keep him, and the idea the sword will shift with you is really great, does that mean if I kill all the boses with my special sword it can become some kind...Ulimate death blade?

I really can't wait for this, this news along with the Halo Reach viddoc has REALLY REALLY made my day!

SO.

No armor, no health, no mana, cant die...THIS IS NOT A VIDEO GAME ANYMORE.
Goodness I hope you're not serious.

Sounds like they're changing fable into a story driven adventure game rather than a P&P based RPG, which is A-Okay with me. Maybe the re-classification will cut down on some of the mindless vitriol.
Story driven in what way would that be?

All the Fable games have pretty litesauce with the story compared to ALMOST ANY OTHER GAME EVER. What is the story to Fable 1 and 2...
Pac-man

Mario

Crash Bandicoot

Two Worlds

Crysis

Ect, ad infinitum

Look, I know feelings run high regarding this game for some reason, but please try and think about what you say. As before, I'm not at all concerned with how much you like the game. You didn't like the plot? I don't give a shit, it's still a story drive game. That's a fact, it's just what it is.
It isn't, you just superimpose your own story over little faceless AI sequences and say that it has some mind bendingly complex story. It's about on the same level as Mario in that it has about as much story as you imagine.

Honestly, are you a talking ape? If you think Fable is story driven then I fear I have found the person who has been keeping Uwe Boll in business.

I think what ol' Moly is trying to say, is that he's letting the game speak for itself, rather than him making wild claims, (which we all know we hated oh so much! XD).

Seeing the video, I do look forward to trying the game out. Fable 2 wasn't terrible, but it felt incomplete, and Fable was a very good game for its time.
The new design mechanics sound cool, and very doable. Hopefully Molyneux isn't going to dissapoint...

I think most gamers with respond to that news (or anything else that gobshite spouts) with complete apathy and disinterest rather than anger.
Don't forget trolling. Trolling is popular.

Why does every game hate health bars now? Seriously, what the hell was wrong with this concept?

These changes sound fascinating. The part that will piss me off is when Molyneux decides to forgo all of these things and disappoints me yet again!

Instead of orbs, a character's followers will decide his level of stature in the game.
So, very much in the style of Black & White then? I don't mind per se but B&W1 was vastly superior to #2.
Damn Straight!

I want a Black and White 3!

Sort of!

Just don't make it shitty.

This actually sounds... BETTER?!? And I'm one of apparently few people who fucking LOVE Fable. Sounds like a great improvement to me.

Oh my, quite angry right now. This guy is hyping Fable 3 and Natal more than anybody I've seen.

Peter Molyneux... over-hyping one of his games? No, surely this could not happen!

Sounds pretty stupid to me.

I'd rather make my own character rather than have him fat because I like to use a shield. :p

But still, this is the only Fable game that has story wise interested me, so I'll take a shot at it.

So, this game uses Natal does it? Has Molyneux said that this game definitely requires Natal anywhere? If so, I probably won't buy it just for that alone. I'm not a huge fan of Wii style arm waving, this probably more so because it doesn't use a controller at all from what I can tell. Likely it will be a ***** to use and suffer from all manner of flaws requiring the person to be in a completely empty room for "optimal" performance.

Also, when did this idea of simple convenience become obsolete? Why do I need to guess whether or not my character is at the brink of death instead of making a cursory glance at my health meter and deduce that, yes, my character is indeed almost dead.

Whats intersting is he's given up on making it sound like its a game world where everything is possible.
Just adding a few new tricks on top of the old ones.

Why Would This Piss Me Off? These seem like nice changes. Then again knowing fable like i do i Know better than to get caught in the hype
