Unfortunately some places (I'm looking at you Ashlander camps!) aren't accessible like that. I found that I really enjoyed levitation, and I went nowhere without it.Ahhpple said:Why walk when you can rideHail Fire 998 said:Same for me. Not that im a bit older, I really enjoy it. Cast Magic Resistance 100% for 1 second (ANYONE can cast this), quickly open inventory and equip boots. And the boots are clearly labeled with Fortify Speed 200, how could you think you would be moving slowly?Captain Pancake said:Those were such a rip-off. You couldn't see, so you couldn't judge your speed either. For all you know, you could be moving slower.
Levitation is the second proest way to get around Morrowind, after Silt Striders. But if there are no mountains to fly over then you'll want to use the BOBS. Have you found them before? They make travelling on foot much easier.Hail Fire 998 said:Unfortunately some places (I'm looking at you Ashlander camps!) aren't accessible like that. I found increasing acrobatics by about 100 (using a perma enchant) was the best thing to do. *Middle click* Bye, Balmora! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee *middle click a few more times* weeeeeeeeeeeeeee, hello Ald'Ruhn!Ahhpple said:Levitation is the second proest way to get around Morrowind, after Silt Striders. They were the greatest!timmytom1 said:I`m still reeling from some of the nighmareish locations you visit, those six way houses (or whatever they`re called) freaked me the fuck out
Since I didn't want to pay lots of money I made a "jump suit" by enchanting a pair of pants, a shirt, and some boots to Fortify Acrobatics 33 apiece. It was p. awesome for skipping over mountains and large bodies of water, but for flat land I just used the BOBS.DagothNereviar said:I found increasing acrobatics by about 100 (using a perma enchant) was the best thing to do. *Middle click* Bye, Balmora! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee *middle click a few more times* weeeeeeeeeeeeeee, hello Ald'Ruhn!![]()

Ah yes. The first few hours in Balmora without money and equipment, feeling lost and alone. The game definitely had a wonderful atmosphere and while I love Oblivion compared to Morrowind its shitRascarin said:Morrowind is one of my top five ALL TIME games. One of the most immersive experiences ever. I remember getting off the Silt Strider to Balmora, immediately after leaving Seyda Neen. It was night time, and raining, and I had no idea where I was supposed to be going. And I actually felt lost, at night in the rain.
Also, Morrowind kicks Oblivions shiny ass all the way to Elsweyr.
I don't think I've found them before. What are they (so I can look for them)?Ahhpple said:Levitation is the second proest way to get around Morrowind, after Silt Striders. Boots Of Blinding Speed. They gave you +100 speed (I think) but also gave you blindess (again, I think).Hail Fire 998 said:I don't think I've found them before. He's talking about the Sixth House (House Dagoth) bases. There are seven Sixth House Citadels and a few caves and smaller bases IIRC, but it's entirely reasonable that you've never seen any of them because they only come into play late in the Main Quest.feather240 said:What do you mean?timmytom1 said:I`m still reeling from some of the nighmareish locations you visit, those six way houses (or whatever they`re called) freaked me the fuck out
Right here [http://www.uesp.net/maps/mwmap/mwmap.shtml?centeron=Pemenie&]. Or, if you don't want to click on that and ruin the locations of a few caves, the very short, very easy quest for them starts on the road northwest of Caldera.Hail Fire 998 said:I don't think I've found them before. Yeah, I found those. I always play as an Argonian so I was never able to use them before.DagothNereviar said:Boots Of Blinding Speed. I can't remember where they're found. I think there's an Orc that's been rooted to the spot by a witch. But that could be a different artifact.
I can remember when I'd played it a few times, I put the paper map onto a cork board. Everytime id find a rare item, i'd put a pin into the map at that location.
The map that came with it was awesome too, better than Oblivions
